Do not listen to Leaders who are trying to stay where we are or pull us into the past. The Future is undefeated and will not tolerate those that refuse to move.

Now please tell me we do not have an indoctrination problem on campus. We do. Combined with a mental health issue. Toxic combination.
馃嚭馃嚫馃嚥馃嚦 Remember the leftist at the University of Michigan who attacked a conservative influencer yesterday? At just 17-years-old, Temulun Togochog delivered a POWERFUL testimony before the U.S. Congress about China's repression of Southern Mongolians. Born in America to parents living in exile, she revealed that she had never visited her ancestral homeland or met her aunts, uncles and cousins. Her parents fled persecution, leaving behind family, traditions and a homeland they could no longer safely return to. In December 2024, Temulun told lawmakers how the Chinese Communist Party's policies threaten the Mongolian language, culture and identity. She also spoke about the freedom she enjoys growing up in America. WTF HAPPENED TO HER??? Writer: Samuel

Removing societal guardrails and allowing all individuals to define their own reality is a huge part of what is enabling us to come unglued. It is not helpful to be told you can express yourself anyway you want including violence. And then to not constrain those actions reinforces their legitimacy. When they have none.

You know what would really be a better alternative to welfare or UBI? Enterprise funds to start small businesses. No friction to access, or at least no more than Welfare. Track the progress. Provide some support. Let the chips fall where they may. Unleash human potential using Capitalism not outside or against it.

There is absolutely no way nor has there ever been a way to stop progress.

Interesting point...
The people screaming the loudest about AI taking their jobs are the same people who complain about having to work five days a week. You hate your boss. You hate Mondays. You count the hours until Friday. You spend your entire life waiting for retirement. And now humanity is developing technology that could eventually eliminate the need for human labor altogether. And you鈥檙e protesting against it? I don鈥檛 understand what these people want.

As much Capital should remain in the hands of private sector individuals and corporations as possible. That way it goes to work creating real jobs and building new businesses.

I am not alone.
I鈥檓 sick of people telling me how horrible life is now. By every single metric, it鈥檚 the greatest time in human history to be alive. It鈥檚 the best time to be alive, you just have to start living man

UX is the final frontier and most likely to change in the next 10 years. Our relationship with Tech will change dramatically ultimately with hardly any UX at all as we currently think of it.

Pssst.... Friday random thoughts that probably should be kept quiet. We have thought of Social Media as a destination. Follow me on Facebook.....Connect on LinkedIn...Speak your mind on Twitter.... A digital place where Social happens, which is of course completely disconnected from how actual real world Social works. An App. In one sense current Social constructs are similar to the noise of real life in which small affinity groups try to congregate and be Social, but are constantly interrupted by trolls looking for a fight. That may never change to a certain degree. One thing that I believe will change, and will put pressure on Walled Garden Social, is a more distributed and organized Social construct. One in which Affinity Groups, associated through common interests and transactions, gather in a place closer to where they really live. Distributed and organized by Associations or Affinities. In other words, Social will not be a destination but rather a natural element to all on-line life. We are obsessed with this concept through our build of Wristband, which will be a Social construct directly adjacent to, or rather embedded into the process of buying and selling of Concert tickets. Users will gather socially around the common interest of the music or event being considered from the point of consideration to post-event reactions. Today the ticket is purchased in one place i.e. Ticketmaster or Eventbrite, and the Social and Marcom happens in another...i.e. Facebook. We shall see if this really happens and if people are willing to re-think Social and let Social follow and support them with more precise devotion before, during and after the actual experience or transaction. Micro Social. Which is really more aligned with how we organize in the real world. If this thesis proves out, then the leverage that legacy Social constructs currently enjoy, could become somewhat neutralized and perhaps even disrupted. Stay tuned!

I am not sure young people who are out protesting and doing damage or saying really offensive stuff fully realize what that will do to their careers once the dust settles. Viral videos are forever. You will be getting a job interview question about your behavior that you will not be able to answer. And you may really want/need the job. That should be the check and balance on bad behavior and seems to have eluded many of these kids.

Inverse Vision. I am struggling to find the right words but I will start by stating the obvious that Leadership, as we have historically thought of it, is being re-imagined, to coin a new fangled term. One person's re-imagined is another's eliminated. The notion of Leadership, at least my take on it, is that it serves to convey Vision and test whether that Vision can scale through the conveyance of that Vision from the CEO through well executed Leadership. The purpose and all modeling and preparation was to lead People into battle. Now what do we do? Most of the Vets who actually led people into battle are no longer with us. And who are the people we are supposedly leading into battle? In an upside down world in which it is not People we are leading into battle but rather a blend of People and Technology or, at least in the abstract, Technology alone, what is actually required from Leadership. Is a Steve Jobs or Bill Gates even necessary? Seems like we could be in some warped Inverse Vision in which growth is rarely if ever defined by headcount. Intellectual Property is no longer associated with headcount. Nothing but questions is where I land. I do not have any answers but I will tell you this....I am very encouraged that the two teams in the World Series this year are run by humans. Go Humans!

Freedom is very uncomfortable. Especially to those that are threatened by it. You have to ask yourself who or what kind of person would be threatened?

I fear for the world. I am hopeful my fears are unwarranted. I fear I am wrong to be hopeful. I am hopeful that I may be wrong to be fearful. I suspect this wild swing between optimism and fear is pretty wide spread right now. What can we do to bring us all to the middle? Is there a middle any more and will I be allowed to live there? I am hopeful there is a middle and most of us are already there. There is strength and safety in the middle. See you there.

If you people are thinking that radical Islam and Communism or even Liberalism are compatible, then you are in for a huge surprise...and not a good one.

I am not sure we are grasping the magnitude of what is coming. Every single job we have taken for granted is being reimagined with AI Powered Robotics. Every single job.
