We’ve automated every single thing we can @every with AI agents.
And yet there’s way more human work to do than ever. We’ve gone from 4 -> 30 human employees since GPT-3.
I wrote a report on the structural reasons: how AI makes expert competence cheap, why that drives up demand for experts, and why the dynamic only intensifies as we approach AGI.

Since @raycast just announced a GitHub CoPilot extension, it was the perfect excuse to take care of some of the tasks in my backlog.
A few takeaways:
- It was so easy to cue up a few tasks and let it run. It seemed like it too longer than running it in Cursor. But, it was great being able to run in the background and in parallel.
- It still takes some effort to go through each PR, review it, and check it out locally to ensure it actually worked. -- I'm sure a better CICD pipeline would help automate this.
- I stuck to small tasks that could be built in isolation. I still need to test bigger features, or bigger code bases, or greener projects with less established patterns.
Did the world really need another VS Code theme? Probably not.
But I made RWSDK Light + Dark anyway — works in VS Code, Cursor, and Windsurf.
