Remembering a legend of our sport.
Frank “Gags” Gagliano has passed away at 89, leaving a legacy that spans more than six decades of American distance running.
From building Georgetown into a national powerhouse to guiding NCAA champions and Olympians, Gags helped generations of runners believe in what they could achieve. His impact lives on through the athletes he coached and the community he helped build.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and everyone who called him Coach. Rest in peace, Gags. 🕊️
