in the past 14 days we shipped
- perps on web (getting infinitely better as we speak)
- cross margin (huge unlock for perp traders)
- perps trader rewards (huge asymmetry rn, we've paid out over $20M+ to spot traders so far)
should have a few more nice things next 24 hours :)
fomo.

matt is one of a handful of ppl ive had on notifications on X for years.
hes undoubtedly one of the best market analysts around today and certainly my favorite.
hiring our top users is something that’ll allow us to continue building the best product possible.
welcome to the fomo family!
hello friends, a quick update for y'all.
i'm joining @fomo to lead perps.
i've been trading for a decade now and have shared most of my market thoughts publicly here. to me, markets are one of the purest expressions of human behavior, where information, attention, and conviction converge into price. trading has always been inherently social, and i've spent nearly every day of the last six years on twitter and telegram exchanging ideas with fellow speculators. but still, no one has quite figured out how to build a truly great social trading platform that actually helps traders trade. it's a deceptively difficult problem to solve.
we live in a world where more people than ever are attracted to convex outcomes. information is abundant, access to markets is becoming pretty commoditized, and people are becoming more opinionated about everything. but more information and more markets alone don't make better traders. what is now more scarce is judgment, or alpha: knowing what matters, how the best traders think, and when to act. the next great trading app won't just compete on execution, but on intelligence. a network where people discover ideas, build conviction, and sharpen their edge through others.
most people see fomo today as an app for trading memes. onchain proved just how deeply markets are driven by attention, narratives, and social behavior. these same forces exist across equities, commodities, and anything else people can form an opinion on. what fomo has built for the trenches is the foundation for bringing that same social experience to every asset class. the opportunity is to build a network where the world discovers, discusses, and trades everything.
as an early investor and advisor of fomo, my conviction has only grown in both the vision and people committed to it. the goal isn't simply to let everyone trade perps but to build a network that makes everyone trading them better.
it's a difficult problem to solve. one life. it’s worth an attempt.
