Director King

SHHHHHHHHHHH! HEY WHISPERS! During a school board meeting on June 9, a Broward County, Florida resident, #DelvinKing, quoted #YungMiami’s “Spend Dat” with his own unique twist. King, along with several other locals, raised concerns about unanswered questions in a yearlong investigation into an alleged fraud scheme involving multiple school employees. According to NBC Miami, two basketball coaches were arrested in December for allegedly renting out gyms for tournaments and then pocketing the money. Other arrests have occurred since then. King, who serves as the campus director at South Florida Technical College and a principal at the Youth Under Construction school in Pompano Beach, is the person who brought the case to light. In May 2025, King had booked his school’s graduation ceremony at a high school gym. However, upon arrival, he discovered that a basketball tournament was already taking place. During this week’s school board meeting, King pointed out social media comments from Rachel Dailey, a real estate and leasing specialist who works on facility rentals for the school system. He believes these comments should be further investigated. King even name-checked her in his lyrics. Currently, King is running for Pompano Beach City Commission District 5.
