Slot the called generational coach and unpredictable spent all season long doing the same mistakes again and again and again until he got sacked. all season long couldn’t adjust or change the way we pressed/with the ball. I do criticize Iraola, but Slot revisionists are funny.

Coaching takes time. Fergie took time, Pep took a season, Klopp took time, Arteta took time, etc. Lot of them came into far worse teams obviously, but even so, manager's don't have a magic wand. You improve with time on the training pitch. Andoni's had a shortened pre-season, 3 games a week, 1 massive international break, and a bunch of new, young players. Show some patience. Judge us at the end of the season. Our expectations are all over the place because both times we won the league we were perfect for the first half of the year. If you think time will lead to better performances and results, then hold faith. If you're 100% convinced that time will only lead this team to get worse, then I get why people might be questioning the manager. The attack has been good in Europe, not great in the league. The defence has been good in the league, not great in Europe.

Never played a 433 in his entire managerial career. If its gotten to this point already about having to change formations to make it work, when the answers are very obvious currently... We're in for a dark season #LFC

I wonder if Iraola might need to change system to a 433 with a 1-2 midfield. Trust Nyoni as the pivot in most games and rotate the other midfielders (including Wirtz) as 8s. Macca probably starts more often than not. Wirtz played well as left 8 for Klopp. Dom & Grav are 8s.

You maybe play him once top eight has been assured, and the games truly become dead rubbers. Until then you play your best goalkeeper, and Alisson is still our best goalkeeper. By some distance.
