#WATCH | Telangana | Tariq Muneer, General Secretary, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Hyderabad Unit, says, "Jamaat-e-Islami, Hyderabad unit is organising an event with the theme "Beyond the Divide: Countering Hate, Building Harmony." The whole idea behind this event is we want to address hate, we want to put our efforts to counter hate. We as the citizens of this country and representatives of Islam, sincerely believe that if hate spreads at the rate at which it is spreading right now and if it continues to spread like this, then it will be a disaster for the whole country. It will be disasters for the future generations and for the overall country. So I think it is our responsibility to put all our efforts to counter this hate. Since the whole hate campaign is about Muslim community and Islam and history of Islam, in this expo and in this seminar we would like to address these issues face to face. We would invite people from every community to come with their questions and ask whatever difficult questions they have about Islam and Muslims and history of India. We can disagree but we can still live peacefully. So for that purpose I think raising questions and answering those questions is very important...It is starting on 30th October at 5 PM, then it will continue till 1st November. Venue is Exhibition Grounds, Nampally, Hyderabad."

Cynicism says communities can never understand one another. Everyday acts of cooperation prove otherwise.
Keep creating opportunities to meet, listen, serve, and build trust. #BeyondTheDivide
Not every conversation ends in agreement, and that is okay. Leave room for another conversation, a new fact, or a
changed perspective. Understanding often begins with keeping the door open. #BeyondTheDivide
Hate divides communities, but kindness builds bridges. Let us reject prejudice, challenge stereotypes, and create a
culture where mutual respect is stronger than hatred. #BeyondTheDivide
Before our religion, language, region, or identity, we are human beings who deserve dignity, compassion, and
respect. Let humanity be the bridge that connects us all. #BeyondTheDivide
Our differences should never become barriers to our humanity. Let us choose empathy over prejudice, dialogue
over hatred, and unity over division. Together, we can build a society where everyone belongs. #BeyondTheDivide

You can correct misinformation without insulting the person who shared it. Present reliable evidence, explain your point calmly, and leave room for people to reconsider. #BeyondTheDivide
Rights and dignity belong to everyone, and so does the responsibility to protect them. Follow fair rules, help neighbours, challenge prejudice, and contribute to a safer shared society. #BeyondTheDivide
Many challenges affect us all: pollution, poverty, unsafe streets, and unequal access to services. Cooperation across communities helps us find practical solutions and improve life for everyone. #BeyondTheDivide
A few seconds of reflection can prevent hours of harm. Ask: Is it true? Is it fair? Is it necessary? Use social media to inform responsibly, not inflame prejudice. #BeyondTheDivide
A just society gives people a fair chance to learn, work, participate, and live with dignity. Let us challenge barriers that deny opportunities because of identity. #BeyondTheDivide
