Reasoning models do not think in user's query langauge, our work will be presented by @Jirui_Qi at #EMNLP2025! Now we dive a bit more into the potential solution! We set a goal: to make models reason in the user’s language without losing accuracy. huggingface.co/blog/shanchen…

Wonderful release! Excited to lead and contribute the figure on the right! Post-training on verticals remains challenging when the data is hard to access and curate but very important! Read more and join us: r1rcm.com/resources/long-con…
Replying to @NVIDIAAI
Teams are already post-training Nemotron 3.5 Super VL for tasks in document intelligence, cybersecurity, finance, scientific experimentation, and travel. The chart below shows how accuracy improves when the model is post-trained for each task.

Can orchestrate cursor cloud bot through the free cursor ultra plan too. Just need to specify which model and thinking strength you need…
Grok Bot can literally run Grok Build inside its own computer So make Grok Bot install Grok Build and let it delegate tasks directly to the CLI Yes, Grok Bot can open and operate Grok Build for you...and since the task is actually running through Grok Build, you can use the Grok models with the highest reasoning level Basically: Grok Bot = orchestrator Grok Build = execution engine And since your Bot and Build are connected to separate usage pools, you can distribute workloads between them too This setup is insanely useful actually

Super proud of @Kaijie_Mo and team for looking under the hood to quantify LLMs’ morphological shortcuts in drug reasoning, localize them to early-mid layers, and highlight their potential safety risks in medical settings. More details: arxiv.org/abs/2606.05616
A model can sound like it knows a drug—even when it doesn’t. Researchers at @UTAustin, @Northeastern, & @UTMDAnderson found LLMs often lack drug-specific knowledge and instead lean on morphology. Because Olmo is open, they could use it to trace why. 🧵 allenai.org/blog/olmo-drug-m…

If high stakes, for products, alleviate pain points first and make people work more efficiently. After more trust kicking in, people can accept more grok @bot way of working
randomly wonder when people work on some field + AI, do you usually think of it as building tools for people in that field, or building toward AI eventually doing what they do?

I’ll be joining @MTSlive today @ 11am to talk about a blog post I wrote, where I argued that LLM can ‘jump’! yongzx.github.io/blog/2026/0… Note: I wrote the post before joining OpenAI. The views I’ll share are my own and do not represent my employer.

A confession, as a physician: I don't have time to read the full record of the patient in front of me. Even when I desperately want to. 15 to 30 minutes a visit. Years of records behind it. So we built something that can read all of it. 🧵

Joining @openai next month! after seeing people's reaction to Alisa's post about her experience, I also wrote down some of the surprising things I wish I know before my research scientist job search: yongzx.github.io/blog/2026/0…

thanks for the interesting work, but i think one caveat here is that the parameters are swept with 5k examples dataset -> which makes sense for larger LR to shine given customer use case my experience is that a larger dataset will be different(smaller LR)
1/ We fine-tune a lot of customer models, so we decided to systematically try and figure out some best practices for finetuning. SFT isn't sexy, but it's still important. We vary one SFT lever at a time across 2 model families, dense + MoE to 235B, on 4 real-world customer datasets. What makes this clean is that each dataset is paired with an eval that took weeks to build with the customer, and the training outputs were generated to pass that eval. So the supervised target and the thing we measure downstream are the same criterion, which strips out the usual confounders

[1/8] Thrilled to share that our paper “Optimizing Language Models for Crosslingual Knowledge Consistency” has been accepted to #ICML2026! 🎉 We ask a simple question: can we make multilingual LLMs more consistent across languages with #RL? 🔗Paper+Code: arxiv.org/abs/2603.04678

accepted at icml26! great thanks for awesome reviewers and AC! Our work is the first systematic, checkpoint-level analysis of monitorability dynamics during RLVR.
(1/n) Large Reasoning Models are trained with RLVR to improve their reasoning capability. But beyond improving accuracy, what else does RLVR change in model reasoning? Can it make reasoning more monitorable—so humans can reliably audit model behavior? 🤔

I often tell my friends that being a fellow here > attending conferences. The AI safety researchers density is out of the world: I got to learn from researchers from OpenAI, Anthropic, METR, Redwood, etc., Plus, I really cherish the fellow community. For instnace, this work wouldn't be possible without Astra.
🚀 Applications are now open: Constellation's Astra Fellowship 🚀 Fully funded, 5-month fellowship at our Berkeley research institute. Pair with mentors across empirical AI safety research, strategy, and governance at @ConstellOrg! 📅 Apply by May 3rd (begins Sep 2026) 🔗 constellation.org/programs/a…
