Finished up this Christmas art project last night. Ink and pencil drawing of Victoria Hall, Maritzburg College, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. @mcoba1897 @MaritzCollege

Off the usual topics but a funny one for the cricket fans. I also think I would pass as Pollock's voice double if he ever had to call in sick.

40 years ago when regular car design was so good that you'd want posters of them on your bedroom wall. I can't think of many new ones that the 10 year old me would want a poster of.

A water mill in Gualta, Spain.

These Telegraph adverts I keep seeing are just like the Babylon Bee parody character, Grace Raynemaker.

Unsual post theme, but in advance of international rugby season, I'd like to see a pipe maker make a highland pipe anthem chanter in the key of D so that men can sing Flower of Scotland at full throat. Uilleann pipes are made in flat sets, highland pipes need the same.

Easy the chisel, a rationale behind the design of Roman numerals that I'd never considered before.

It's hard to tell parody from real life these days.

Richmond Park a few minutes before the sun disappeared this evening.

There's no such thing as Englishness.

Wow, South African pothole.

Panic over, it's all on CCTV.

My own equipment can total up to around 40kg at a value of around £90k at the maximum. There are now parts of London I won't work in because they are close to impossible to drive to and park for a day.

15 minute painting challenge. St Stephen's, East Twickenham.

Bring these back, I want one, the future hasn't turned out as promised. There was one on a farm just outside the town where I grew up, I still want one.

In praise of buttons.
