“We’re building the quantum ecosystem for the Western world—for our nation, for the Five Eyes, for NATO.”
That’s the mission our CEO, @NiccoloDeMasi, shared with @barronsonline, and it’s how we're driving to be the NVIDIA of quantum.
Today, we supply roughly a dozen other quantum companies with systems, chips, and atomic clocks. We’ve also advanced to the final stage of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)’s Quantum Benchmarking Initiative, an independent audit of progress toward industrially useful, error-corrected quantum computing.
We’re delivering on what we set out to do, and momentum is building. Quantum is now.

We are proud to announce that D-Wave has won a 2026 Digital Innovation Award in the Quantum Computing and High-Performance Computing category for our project, “Italy’s First Annealing Quantum Computer: D-Wave’s Advantage2™ System.”
Working with Swiss Quantum Technology SA and the Q-Alliance, we’re deploying an Advantage2 annealing quantum computer in Italy. The goal: expand access to quantum computing for businesses and researchers, support workforce training, and accelerate practical applications.
Last month, in Italy, D-Wave’s Government Affairs Lead, EMEA Nicole Scourti accepted the award on D-Wave’s behalf. Thank you to the Digital Innovation Forum organizers and our partners for helping build Italy’s quantum future!

Write quantum algorithms. Automatically encode them for error correction. Run supported programs on Helios.
Following yesterday’s Nexus roadmap announcement, our new technical blog goes deeper into Guppy FT and Guppy Algorithms, introduced in September’s release.
Built on our world-leading quantum hardware, these tools help developers turn advances in fault tolerance into programs they can write, test, and run.
Guppy FT: write quantum programs and automatically encode them for supported error-correction architectures.
Guppy Algorithms: build with reusable, optimized algorithmic components.
See the tools in action with an encoded quantum algorithm running on Helios—and learn how error-correction cycles and parallelized state preparation improve performance.
These are foundations developers can use today as we build toward Apollo, our universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer planned for 2029.

Have you noticed that, today, quantum is never purely quantum?
We did, which is why we teamed up with @AMD to create Backline, an open platform for compilation and low-latency execution that you can use now in @PennyLaneAI.

I’ll say it again. Annealing and gate-model quantum computing address different computational problems. D-Wave is investing to lead in both. Our roadmaps target 100,000 annealing qubits by 2031 and 100 logical gate-model qubits capable of more than one million operations by 2032. We’re building on years of commercial quantum computing experience to solve larger optimization problems and deliver reliable, fault-tolerant gate-model applications. Customers will need both to address the full range of computational problems, and we’re uniquely positioned to deliver. $QBTS #quantumcomputing

$IonQ Not only is today's earning report outstanding and better than expected, but what's more important is that it has become clear that the decision-making that the @IonQ_Inc team has made across the board was not just the right choices, but are choices that will propel growth in an compounding manner. What we are seeing is not just something extraordinary for it is the full-stack that is pushing the maturity of the market, but what we're also witnessing is that the decision-making under @NiccoloDeMasi from day one has been nothing short of brilliant . . . even when, at times, the market did not fully understand all the connects and rationale. I'll leave this message with one very important thought: trust has to be earned. IonQ has sure earned my trust as a long-term investor. Today's news is the new baseline for which everything builds in an integrated manner.

Quantum computing leadership must be earned through results. Peer-reviewed research, demonstrated technical advances and measurable customer value should set the standard for this industry. I recently joined @LeeJane71 to discuss how to separate signal from noise and how D-Wave is executing on our dual-platform strategy: delivering commercial value with annealing today while advancing a differentiated gate-model architecture. It was a fantastic conversation, and I look forward to the next one, @LeeJane71. #QuantumComputing $QBTS

The next era of quantum computing needs more than extraordinary, fault-tolerant hardware. It needs a platform that puts that power in developers’ hands.
Meet the future of Quantinuum Nexus.
Today, we’re unveiling a multi-year roadmap to evolve Nexus, Quantinuum’s platform as a service, into the industry’s first developer platform designed for the fault-tolerant quantum era.
Nexus will connect application development and deployment across our hardware roadmap, from Helios to Apollo, our universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer planned for 2029.
Our ambition is simple: make building powerful quantum applications easier as we progress toward fault tolerance. Nexus will progressively handle the complexity of error correction, helping developers build programs that grow in capability as the hardware advances.
With Nexus, you can:
🚀 Develop complete applications with fault-tolerant libraries and tools.
⚡ Optimize performance with increasingly automated error correction and resource management.
🌐 Deploy hybrid quantum-classical workflows across enterprise computing environments.
Build today. Be ready for what’s next.
