Crazy things are happening in Africa 😂
President of Cameroon, the 93-year-old Paul Biya, is expected to visit Cameroon next week! He will have a two-week working trip before returning to Geneva, Switzerland, where he lives.

As a man, you have to be principled! Compounded as a religious leader, you have to be VERY principled. You are a role model, someone people look up to, and a representative of the religion in which you lead and guide others. You should move ever so carefully and cautiously.

I turned 30 a few days ago, and reflecting on over a decade of running businesses, here are a few things I have learnt: -Running a business is not as glamorous as it looks on social media, a lot goes on behind the scene people don’t put out. -You need money to make money, and returns aren’t always immediate. Sometimes, you have to give your investments time. - If every decision depends on you, growth becomes difficult. Learn to build systems and delegate as much as you can to focus on most important tasks -Consistency matters more than motivation. There have been times I have lost interest in business, but I still had to show up. Lastly, give yourself grace. You are building a business while building yourself, too. I am 30, still learning, still building, and still a work in progress. ❤️ Happy belated birthday to me🩷🥰

I mean, you’d not come across something realer than this on X today. So true! Gotta do more than the average rich for you to be average rich
If you are born in the trenches like some of us and you want to break out . You cannot afford to be mediocre You must be laser and hyper focus, You need serious clarity! what kind of success do you need ? Define it, Write it down today Everyone who knows me at Ijegun will tell you "Adija Oni marry si Ijegun, koni bimo sibi" I always say I will never be a victim of teenage pregnancy, it was very rampant around Me. Book was my shield Be prepared to work harder, yes Harder than an average person. Hard work is the currency you pay the rich and elites to join them You will read and wider than the Rich, Be aware that an average rich person is an avid reader BUT you must be prepared to do more so that when your opportunity comes you will be able to NEGOTIATE at their level , Trust me on this, If you can communicate with them , you can mix to a certain extent in their group Find a Mentor in your niche and discipline, listen to Instructions, follow the guidelines and Templates giving to you and be ready to do way more than your mentor, Yes DO IT , and be ready to serve . Serve BE BOLD AnD Audacious , Knowledge will give you the advantage Be Extremely prayerful, Ask for favour , Grace, God's help, Ask that your efforts shall be blessed but Remember that Prayer without commensurate work is nothing May our efforts be blessed , I stop for now

This doesn't reflect the current realities of Nigerian farmers. Cost of inputs are still high and most of these "initiatives" don't reach the real farmers. It's all audio.
Dear Farmers, Here’s the part that concerns you of the President’s Independence Day Speech. You think this administration has done well to support agriculture, farming and farmers, adequately? That it’s been easier to farm, food is now cheaper to produce & access? @sarnchos

National Minimum Wage: Who suffers more — public workers or private workers? This is a question Nigeria needs to discuss honestly. Public-sector workers may have more formal salary structures and, in some cases, stronger collective bargaining arrangements. But many private-sector workers face a different reality. Some work long hours for low pay. Some work without strong job security. Some are employed by small businesses that struggle with rising operating costs. And some workers may not fully benefit from statutory wage protections. Nigeria’s minimum wage is meant to provide a basic wage floor for covered workers. The 2024 law raised the national minimum wage to ₦70,000. But the bigger question is: Does that wage actually reflect the cost of living faced by an ordinary Nigerian worker? A worker still has to pay for food. Transport. Rent. Healthcare. School fees. Electricity. Family responsibilities. Whether that worker is in the public or private sector, the pressure is real. So perhaps the conversation should not be “Who suffers more?” It should be: “How do we ensure that every covered Nigerian worker can earn enough to live with dignity?” Government must enforce the law. Employers must treat workers fairly. And minimum wages must be reviewed as economic conditions change. Because a minimum wage that looks adequate on paper can lose its purchasing power when the cost of living rises. The Nigerian worker should not be forced to choose between working and surviving. #NationalMinimumWage #Nigeria #NigerianWorkers

Let's talk about SELECTIVE IGNORANCE. Selective ignorance is the deliberate choice to not give your attention to certain information, opinions, distractions, or problems even when you could know about them. You choose not to know about them because knowing or engaging with them isn't useful to your goals. Being informed about everything is not the same as being knowledgeable about anything. In today’s world, where information is endless and everyone is competing for your attention, selective ignorance has become a superpower. You don’t need to know everything, follow every trend, respond to every opinion, or involve yourself in every conversation. Your attention is limited, so learn to deliberately ignore what doesn’t serve your goals, values, or growth. The goal isn’t to know less; it’s to know what deserves your attention. Sometimes, wisdom is knowing what to ignore.
