WE NEED A NEW HOME.
Our landlord has applied for planning permission to demolish our workshop and replace it with 3 new dwellings. Having reviewed the application, We believe this will be granted and we will be homeless. We need YOUR help.
ALT Following a successful bid for funds for training and PAT from Reading Borough Council, we are now open between 10:00 and 14:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday each week. We will return to 5 opening towards the end of May.
After a break of nearly 18 months we have re-opened the Workshop.
Initially we are open three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, between 10:00 am and 2:00pm and would like welcome all existing members and anyone interested in joining.

The clearing and set up prior to re-opening of the workshop has begun. Kevin Slade has once again put his fantastic skills to good use with two very functional sanitation stations.
Our oldest member, Peter Dewsnap, took home to his workshop the parts for tricycle we are re-furbishing for Brookfields School. Yesterday he brought the completed trike back to the workshop. Several other members we involved in the project including a fantastic paint job by Owen
The the Silvers' Workshop Management Team are putting a lot of work into making sure we can safely open as soon allowed.
