Roche earned billions on fraud, with its lies about Tamiflu’s miraculous effects (the biggest theft in history, see my book). Now, a randomised trial in critically ill patients with influenza showed that the drug increased mortality significantly. bit.ly/4xbM5to

“If we assume that the observed doubling times are constant until the tumour becomes detectable, it means that the average woman has harboured the cancer for 21 years before it becomes detectable at breast screening at about 10mm in size. It is therefore misleading to say that cancers are caught early with screening. They are caught very late.” Dr Gøtzsche

It is encouraging to see progress away from the amyloid theory. Alzheimer’s is a complex syndrome with dozens of contributing factors, from inflammation and insulin resistance to toxin exposure and, as this study shows, issues with cellular repair. news.mit.edu/2025/scientists…

Remember that JAMA study supposedly proving seed oils are better for us than butter? I wrote a comment about how it was flawed, and the authors responded.
They say that median is not the mean (average) and my calculations are flawed.
No kidding! But its the best I could do given that they fail to report the mean, which they should have done according to other experts (like @zoeharcombe who also did a take down on this article).
They also make other excuses for the data being so skewed, as if that somehow makes it valid!
I did a more detailed breakdown here:

It's published!
The energy model of insulin resistance: A unifying theory linking seed oils to metabolic disease and cancer
Here’s the link to the full text.
Let’s make this the most downloaded paper on their website!!
Here’s my summary:
The paper proposes that seed oils, by causing oxidative stress, force cells to change their fueling strategy. The result of that is metabolic disease and cancer.
It works like this:
Oxidative stress suffocates cells. It puts them into a kind of survival mode, and activates genes for bringing sugar into the cell. That's called aerobic glycolysis, which is now understood to be the main mechanism driving cancer!
At the whole-person level, many cells stealing sugar from the bloodstream all at once lower our blood sugar. That causes hypoglycemia, and then you get a flood of stress hormones.
This is immediately practical.
Wonder why you feel hangry? That's why. And yes it means you have insulin resistance. Cancer and insulin resistance share the same root cause. So if you get hangry, you are at higher risk of cancer.
This paper explains why insulin resistance and cancer are rampant among youth. They were tragically born and raised on more processed foods than any previous generation. Seed oils are the worst ingredient in processed foods.
I tried to make the theory airtight. But I appreciate anyone who wants to poke holes.
Writing this paper consumed many hours over the past few months. Keeping me away from terribly important things, like posting on X.

I agree diabetes remission is not just achieved via low carb but in our UK practice low carb is by far the easiest way to achieve this The entire DiRECT study had 57 cases of remission across numerous practices We have 152 cases in just a single GP practice @DiabetesUK @BrownAdey

The sugar industry paid Harvard scientists to blame fat instead of sugar.
But what if the truth is worse?
Yes, Harvard scientists took sugar industry money.
But they already believed fat caused heart disease long before the checks arrived.
They weren’t corrupt. They were convinced.
I spent 9 years investigating this.
📚 10,000+ papers reviewed
🔬 Decades of research policy traced
And what I found?
Industry funding is just one part of a much deeper problem.
The real issue:
🔹 Outdated ideas
🔹 Unquestioned assumptions
🔹 Science treated as settled—when it wasn’t
This dogma made its way into our #dietaryguidelines. And we’re still living with the damage.

No better example of the hilariously unreliable findings of epidemiological/observational data in nutrition🤣
This is based on self-reported dietary data, which is known to be untrustworthy.
Everything out of the Harvard nutrition department is this kind of science.
I'm off to eat 3x that amount of chicken, at which point, according to this study, I'll be dead.

Don't bother taking olive oil as a supplement. Just cut out seed oils.
Unbeknonwst to all these experts, the evidence that olive oil prevents dementia, heart disease, cancer etc etc is actually evidence that seed oils cause these problems and that people who eat more olive oil and less seed oil are healthier.

The erosion of respect for the scientific establishment stems from the fact that the scientific establishment caused a pandemic that killed 20 million and cost $25 trillion and from the fact that the scientific establishment lied, and continues to lie, about causing the pandemic.
"The erosion of trust in science undermines not only research, but also the policies that protect public health, the environment, and human rights."

Sure, let me help you out.
Sanitation likely prevented disease not by eliminating so-called “pathogenic germs,” but by removing toxic waste products like bilirubin, indoles, skatoles, petroleum-based residues, heavy metals, and decaying organic matter. People were crammed into poorly ventilated tenement buildings made with toxic materials like lead-based paint, coal dust, arsenic-laced wallpaper, formaldehyde-treated wood, and asbestos insulation. Add to that the fact they were drinking from the same water sources they were pooping in — reabsorbing their own waste and the waste of others. Combine all of this with widespread malnutrition, relentless industrial pollution, and zero understanding of detoxification, and you’ve got a perfect storm for the body to mount intense cleansing responses — fever, vomiting, diarrhea, systemic rashes, and more — which were then mislabeled as “infectious diseases.” Once basic sanitation was introduced and people stopped living in filth and re-consuming poison, those symptoms declined — not because of vaccines, but because we stopped toxifying ourselves at every turn. Germs were just the scapegoat.

I've spotted the trick already. See table in link below.
NHS II had just 1% of participants in Group 4. They've compared 1% (G4) with 86% (G1).
Why would they do this?
To achieve a result. Any result.

So it is not surprising that research shows antibiotics, some vaccines, and anti-inflammatory drugs are all associated with a decreased dementia risk. upi.com/Health_News/2025/01/…
