A 🇩🇰 classic: In A Moment Like This was rejected in Melfest both 2009 and 2010, so it went to DMGP 2010 and won. Denmark took 4th place in Eurovision that year and Sweden had their first (and so far only) non-qualification through Anna Bergendahl instead – at Copenhagen, Denmark

🇩🇰 Gitte Henning was the big favourite at DMGP 1962. But because the the composer accidentally hummed the song in DR's canteen, and the show host overheard it, the song was disqualified. Gitte went to ESC for Germany instead in 1973.

Hello from Wiener Stadthalle. We are getting ready for dress rehearsal 1 of semi-final 2 of Eurovision and I @simonfalkdk will guide you through what happens in the next couple of hours 🤩

We didn't see eachother for almost two days so I had to do selfie number 48 with Mr. Lund 🇩🇰 – at Copenhagen, Denmark
A nice atmosphere on stage with all the artists from yesterday's Eurovision in Concert 😊 – at Amsterdam, The Netherlands
I've seen a few tweets (or X's or whatever you kids call it nowadays) regarding the "dead" audience yesterday at Eurovision in Concert. The thing is that a lot of people are recording to upload content and since NL wasn't participation there weren't as many Dutch casuals 😊 – at Amsterdam, The Netherlands
🇩🇰 Today Denmark's first Eurovision contestant Birthe Wilke turns 90 years old 🎂
🥉 She won the first DMGP in 1957 with Gustav Winckler singing "Skibet skal sejle i nat" and placed 3rd at Eurovision in Frankfurt. Returned to ESC in 1959 and placed 5th 🥳

🇦🇹 Nobody but him!
Who else could guide us through the class of 2026 better than Cesár Sampson?! 🎤✨
As we prepare to head to his home country of Austria this May, Cesár is taking the mic to lead the party before we all follow him to Vienna.
🇩🇰 Who better to help us dive into the ‘infinity’ of bangers in the class of 2026 than Denmark’s own Sissal?!
Known for the smash "Hallucination," Sissal is swapping the Green Room for the center stage as she joins our hosting team!
☕️ Should we spill the Tia?
Who else could round out our hosting trio than the one and only Tia Kofi?! 👑✨
The RPDR UK vs The World winner and self-proclaimed Eurovision nerd, Tia has been everywhere from the BBC socials to commanding the stage at The Big Eurovision Party!
Get ready for the ultimate hosting power-throuple at HERE at Outernet this April 19! 🇬🇧🔥

So much thank you (said very ironically) to the people leaking ILLEGAL footage from the Melfest rehearsals just to get attention and clout. As you can see it's not only hurting us in the press about the access we have but in this case very much also the artist – at Copenhagen, Denmark
🇩🇰 Thank you Søren and team for choosing to stay in Danish 🥰

Today's spam: Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's Søren-man! (Isn't that what the S stands for?)

🇩🇰 Søren of the day (this should be a hashtag): Snow White needed seven little guys to save her from her evil step mother, so Søren lead the way 😄
