Not investment advice, but if Google was *only* a frontier lab, their models are tier 1, their gcp business is pretty good and if they fire ask the over paid pms I'd say they're easily with 3x anthropic/openai.
As a parent with a kid with peanut & milk allergy this will be awesome.
This would address inflammation, autoimmune diseases, allergies, and help balance risk for new vaccines. Right now it's not that hard to write a new pathogen description to the immune system, and the immune system is pretty clever and powerful, essentially running parallel evolution at a greatly accelerated pace, inside your body. But it's not perfect and autoimmune problems are really nasty.
The UK had a surprise bank holiday yesterday. Thanks @googlecloud 🫶🏻
Everyone gets 1 vote. Net tax payers should get a 2nd.
Same for MP votes. If your constituentcy is a net contributer your vote counts twice.
Devastating @WSJ piece
The welfare state is crushing Britain
Some seven million people—more than 10% of the population—now claim at least one or more sickness or disability benefits.

No kidding Stevie might be sitting on the key piece of tech that breaks open the agent first economy.
BLACK MAGIC
Wiretrap inferred the OpenTable iOS app private API contract de novo (including making/cancelling reservations) without an OpenTable account, making a single network request, or any binary analysis, in a couple of hours.
It took a bit longer as the tool had some gaps in we filled as we went along. Each incremental app will be faster to analyze as less gaps are found. The goal is sub 5 minutes per app.
I'm actually the best in the world at this 😂
The 2-1 punch of x86 games now running at native speed on ARM devices + claude/codex being able to decompile and build native/mashup/VR versions of games is causing a mini gaming renaissance.
The soul of a game is the tuning/balance and that seems to be preserved easily.

OMG! @Kling_ai 4.0 is OUT TODAY !!!!
I made this musicvideo with it! Here is everything you need to know …
This post is sponsored by Kling AI but they allowed me to create whatever I wanted!
I was one of the first few artists who got early access and used it to make this music video.
What stood out to me most wasn’t just the image quality, but its ability for lipsyncing!
For the lip sync, I used my preferred method: rendering the actual music track with a black frame and combining it with the stills I created.
Same with prompt adherence.
Shaky handheld camera actually felt shaky.
The anamorphic lens look came through.
And with Omni Reference, you can now work with up to 15 references across images, video, voice and elements.
On launch you also get:
• up to 10 keyframes
• 30s generations
• 1080p
• multi-shot support
• improved lip sync
• improved text generation
• much more flexible reference control
Kling 4.0 feels less like “generate me a video” and more like “here are all the ingredients, now direct it.”
oh, and its cheaper than seedance! And 4.0 Flash is A LOT faster too!
Have you tried it? Let me know your thoughts!
Thank you so much for helping me with this one Ben Chimoy!

🇸🇬 🇬🇪 @tether, @pave_bank and @gftn_official launch the Georgia-Singapore Fintech Scholars Programme.
Top students from Tbilisi State University spend a semester at Singapore Management University, fully funded.
The first higher education exchange between Georgia and Singapore.
Don't sleep on @modal . The feeling of spinning up 8 H100s for 10 minutes to batch process a bunch of stuff and having it come in under the monthly free tier is great.
It used to be a faff to make sure your workload could be massaged into a python function, but claude knows how.
Three years at Pave Bank. We are very close to working out how to do T-(minus)-1 payments.
I do not say this lightly.
We are not asking for a ban. We are asking for a pause.

50th anniversary of Mao’s death today. It’s all my cats have been talking about.
Money is a conserved, non-negative, bearer summary of history. Future economic systems could just use the memory directly.
fascinating paper a friend sent me standardeconomics.com/mm.pdf from @standardecon
An app where you can pay cash, or scan and see how much less (or free) it is for you based on your history and how much you contribute. Agents could more or less ignore the cash component and just exist in the "memory of services rendered is my buying power" regime.
