We spent the last year chasing rights for hidden gems like these. Which film should we get next? No promises, but we’ll try. : )

Akira Kurosawa on how to become a master at screenwriting:
"In order to write scripts, you must first study the great novels and dramas of the world. You must consider why they are great. Where does the emotion come from that you feel as you read them? What degree of passion did the author have to have, what level of meticulousness did he have to command, in order to portray the characters and events as he did? You must read thoroughly, to the point where you can grasp all these things. You must also see the great films. You must read the great screenplays and study the film theories of the great directors. If your goal is to become a film director, you must master screenwriting."

Ankur Singla’s ‘Ghich Pich’ is a wonderful slice of life about three boys in Chandigarh. Though the central characters are teenagers, this lightly melancholic story isn't the usual “teen movie”. It’s about fathers & sons in “those innocent days”.

4 days to go! Imagine a product launch that you can't ever undo. 😅😅😅 Ghich Pich in cinemas on Friday, 8 August.
During COVID, the filmmaking bug bit me. After 4.5 years of learning to write and direct, my debut feature film is finally hitting cinemas on August 8th! It's a story of fathers and sons and I think it's not a bad film :P (In cinemas ONLY - don't wait for the OTT release!)
