Update on our g-son: No change in body temp (still way low) and they cannot find the source of the infection. They know it's affecting the brain but it's not brain-centered. Once they find the source, they can fight it with appropriate meds/treatment. On the good side, he's been awake and aware all day and is eating solid foods. The doc said that's fantastic, it's the body saying, 'feed me, I'm ready to fight back and I need fuel'. So that's heartening. Also, yes, there were TIA's but no lasting affects as far as cognizance and muscular movement. The main concern are his major organs. They are on the verge of shutting down, and that's a sign the body has given up. Hopefully the food intake and his awareness will turn the tide on that. Thank you, everyone, for your prayers. From where I sit, they seem to be working. Thank you so much.

I will see saints in heaven. I will also see prostitutes that felt they had no choice, abused women that killed their abuser, men that stole to feed a family, addicts escaping hopelessness. In their darkest hour, they whispered, "Lord forgive me; help me."   This is my Christ.
