And to elaborate my position further for those who are interested, I do think we should work to establish outposts in space of some sort (Moon, Mars, asteroids), but we shouldn't trash our planet in the process. It should be a mindful and measured process under strict environmental limits.

BREAKING: The House just voted 216-212 to pass a national defense authorization act that takes a huge step towards meshing the U.S. and Israeli militaries.
This legislation would massively expand U.S.-Israel defense technology cooperation and integration.
One portion of the bill, the United States-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative, would give Israel access to U.S. military and intelligence systems’ technology, information, and supply chain, while giving the U.S. very little in return.
