A world on fire
A major wildfire has been burning on Mount Kruje in Albania since Saturday, forcing residents from several nearby villages to evacuate.
Firefighters, military personnel and three helicopters worked through the night to contain the blaze, with steep terrain making it difficult for ground crews to reach affected areas.

"It's just a grass fire"
Grass, field and moorland fires have a devastating impact on the animals which call them their home.
All these fires are preventable.
All are caused by human behaviour.
Please, help stop fires:
- Report people starting fires to Firestoppers on 0800 169 5558. This is anonymous.
- Leave the BBQ at home. They aren't allowed in most public spaces anyway.
- Do not have garden bonfires. The conditions are totally unsuitable and they threaten lives and property.
- Take rubbish with you and dispose of cigarettes carefully

For centuries, gannet chicks have been hunted for their meat each summer on Sula Sgeir, a small rocky island 40 miles (64km) north of Ness on Lewis.
