Orientation for the new Victoria University chapter leadership took place at the Secretariat today.
Leading the session, the Secretary-General urged the incoming leaders to prepare themselves for the journey of volunteership ahead.
His message was clear: volunteering rewards those who are intentional and eager to learn. Approach it with the right mindset, and networks and opportunities will follow.

There is a difference between organising an event and creating an experience.
Jennifer Mwayi's presentation was a reminder that an event shouldn't be judged only by whether the programme went according to plan.
The real question is: What did people feel? What will they remember?
Because people may forget individual moments from an event, but they are likely to remember how the experience made them feel.
For Event Managers, the goal isn't simply to make the programme happen. It's to create an experience worth remembering.
