Our friend and colleague passed away last week. A true local GP with 30yrs + at Kilmeny surgery with a passion for primary care education & training many of today’s GPs practicing locally. An inspiration to us all. Condolences to Verity and family

Walking 100 Miles in May for Cancer Research UK.
We’ve done it! Day 18 has seen us reach 101.37 miles. Almost 60 miles of which have been achieved by exploring the wonderful island of Skiathos, much to the amusement and bewilderment of the lovely hotel staff at La Piscine. – at Thessaly, Greece
All the miles have been tracked and mapped so we could keep an accurate record of how far we have walked. May isn’t over yet so we will continue to track our miles until the 31st. Thank you for all your support, encouragement and generosity, we couldn’t have done it without you. – at Thessaly, Greece
We all know somebody who has been affected by cancer, so we have decided to take part in the 100 miles in May challenge for Cancer Research UK. Any help you can give will be gratefully received and together we will beat cancer. fundraise.cancerresearchuk.o…

34 years ago today, in a small meeting room in Daisy Bank, Bradford Health Authority HQ, Martin Harrison, Dr Kathy Marfell and Glenice Horsfall interviewed me for my first job working for the NHS. They offered me the job and I’m so proud to still be working for @NHSBfdCraven #NHS – at Cross Roads, England
Finally made a meal from my birthday book, thanks @matthewworstead. I love making curry from scratch, tonight we had Mother Butter Chicken followed by Gulab Jamun and home made vanilla ice cream – at Cross Roads, England

Another '15 steps Review' completed today in our Neonatal Unit with the Maternity Voices Partnership. Great to include a Neonatal Safety Champion in review process.
Other than having children I have been lucky never to be admitted to hospital until this week. Thank you @AiredaleNHSFT for looking after me so well, the staff in @Airedale_ED, #AAU and #ward2 were amazing but it’s good to be finally home – at Cross Roads, England

I’m nervous yet full of pride. After 4 years of planning and sleepless nights our Documentary ‘Our Family and Autism’ airs tonight at 9pm on @BBCOne I really hope it helps folk understand Autism a little better, along with all it’s highs and lows. #ourfamily #ourfamilyandautism
Had the most wonderful time looking after our grandson while his mum and dad went to a wedding in the village. He’s so adorable 🥰 instagram.com/p/CTLFMcLD8Aio…
