This will be a fun role. I did this for RTP many years ago. I used to go to the research labs at Duke, UNC and NC State and the incubators (First Flight, American Uncerground) to tour the new tech. Then I would have to understand and explain what they were developing, distilling it into normal people terms. “Behold, this sexy de-fracking sponge!” My absolute favorite core memory was getting backstage to handle some aye-ayes though. You haven’t lived until you’ve pet a creepy ass looking aye-aye :) Tho telling the stories of the builders is its own reward.
