40ish minutes of meal prep = not having to think about what I'm eating all week One of the highest ROI things I do for myself

I woke up drained this week and I could have justified skipping training. It was a rough week, emotional rollercoaster, things not going to plan. My body probably would have thanked me for the day off. I went anyway BUT I went at much lower intensity, closer to 60%. And I want to be careful about how I tell this story, because I used to tell it a different way. For years the version I would have posted is: I don't miss. Whether I'm tired, busy, going through it... doesn't matter. I show up and I go hard. I built a lot of my life on that. And it worked right up until it didn't. Pushing through everything at full intensity is why my body eventually quit on me. What I did this week is a different skill - and it's the one most people never learn. I showed up because I wanted to reinforce the routine. Not because I needed to prove something. I dropped the intensity because that's what the week required, and the session still counted. I had this exact conversation with a client this week. His week fell apart differently, but his instinct was the same. What I told him is the thing I have to keep telling myself: you're not operating at your normal baseline right now, and that doesn't mean you're not doing what you need to do. Giving yourself grace gets said a lot and it usually means nothing. What it actually looks like is going at 60% instead of skipping, or going at 60% instead of forcing 100% and paying for it next week. The plan was never the point. Being able to adjust it is.

Your diet usually doesn't fall apart at breakfast or lunch. The problem comes at 8pm when you're tired and stressed. And again Friday night when the weekend starts. Master those two windows and fat loss gets a whole lot easier.

Like many people who come to us, this client used to look in the mirror and feel hopeless He knew he wasn't showing up at the level he was capable of Now even with a journey ahead he’s fully confident he WILL get there That’s what happens when you step back into alignment with your own standards and start trusting yourself again

The boring health stack: - lift 3x/week - walk 8-10k steps - eat protein every meal - mostly eat real food - sleep 7-8 hours - get outside every day - drink less alcohol Master this before worrying about anything advanced.

So many of our clients are used to showing up for everyone and everything else in their lives, but don’t have that same support for THEM. Everyone needs people wholeheartedly in their corner. Sometimes just knowing you have an entire team behind you, supporting you through all of it, can change your life.

You don't need to eat like shit to gain 20–30 lbs. I've worked with hundreds of people who eat "healthy" and still can't figure out why they aren't losing weight. Usually, they're making a few of these 10 mistakes:
