It’s been an odd few days, but have been working on Guardian’s Gate and been back and forth about chapter structure and plot issues with my amazing beta readers. Best advice ever…tell them to be brutal. You need critiques, not friendly nods. Need sone scifi horror?
What a fantastic review for @PeterJAldin and his fantasy book!
This was a cool surprise today!

It’s been an odd day. On edge as beta readers work through Guardian’s Gate while writing the initial chapters of Saviour’s Gate and loving the shift in emphasis as we enter the last book of the series. It’s the balance between reader expectation and my need to shift scifi tropes.

I was excited to see @OwainOakwood's awesome literary creation, paranormal investigator Argana Zeit, appear in a novel-length story! If you enjoy a lighter read, rooted in some fantastic characters and the memorable setting of the Peak District, this is one for you.

As it’s a Friday had the urge to put out a flatlay because why not? All 8 of my Weapons of Choice sci-fi books look pretty good together, as do The Wrecking Squad series. Can’t decide which are my favourite covers - anyone got a preference?

Turns out I forgot the anniversary of my own collection, Tales From Cemetery, so no wonder no one else is talking about it 🤣
Anyway, 10/7 was its one year anniversary. 10 shorts and a bonus novelette. Perfect for Spooky Season and Halloween
