A @2FactorFinance has different approach to BTC leverage. Instead of using derivatives and funding rates like perpetuals, BTC-Jr creates leverage through its capital structure and is designed with long-term exposure in mind. I’d sum up the main differences like this: Perpetuals vs BTC-Jr ➡️Derivatives → Capital structure ➡️Funding rate → Balancing economics ➡️Liquidations → No forced liquidation ➡️Trading-focused → Built for long-term exposure ➡️Funding can get very expensive → ~1.5% financing cost in the target example ➡️High leverage like 5x or 10x → ~1.33x target leverage ➡️Constant position management → More passive structure So the main difference, at least for me, is this: Perpetuals are more about: "How much leverage can I take?" @2FactorFinance is more about: "How can I use leverage for the long term without all the headaches that come with perpetuals?" And honestly, I think that shift in perspective is one of the most interesting parts of the whole model.

Phase 2 WL applications are open. → apply.hypest.gg Hypest Access Pass mint: Nov 3, 16:00 UTC. 2,222 passes at 0.015 ETH. Fantasy Top already proved the model: fantasy sports, but you bet on CT influencers. Hypest takes that and makes it hyperspeculative. Every post that performs pays the card’s holder in tokens, in real time. The difference: entry is limited. One pass is one seat, and there are 2,222 of them. Already collected cards? Hold a pass and they come with you into the game from day one. 50% of the mint goes into a locked liquidity pool. 50% of all creator earnings go into buying passes off the floor and burning them. After mint, the seat count only goes down. Once every seat is taken, the only way in is buying one from a holder.

What if @2FactorFinance brought its model to the stock market? For short-term traders, this could open up some interesting possibilities. Imagine having more flexibility to express a bullish view on a stock without relying entirely on traditional margin trading or perpetual-style products. Traders could potentially choose an exposure that fits their strategy and risk appetite, rather than simply chasing the highest leverage available. Someone expecting a short-term move after earnings might want a different setup from someone trading a breakout or a market rebound. The real appeal would be having more ways to structure a position, manage capital, and approach different market conditions. Of course, leverage still amplifies losses, and a different structure doesn't eliminate market risk. If @2FactorFinance can adapt its capital structure to equities, it could give traders another tool to consider alongside traditional stock trading. The big question is how well the model would translate to individual stocks and whether the resulting costs and risks would make sense in practice. If you like to join: points.2factor.finance/r/qxe…

Imagine if @2FactorFinance brought its strategy to the stock market. Long term investors could have new ways to seek yield and manage risk, while more aggressive investors could access greater exposure to the stocks they believe in. Different goals, different risk profiles, one flexible approach to investing. That’s what makes this idea worth watching. wants to learn more: points.2factor.finance/r/qxe…

. @bobbinth explained why client-side proving beats Q-Day. We turned it into a story 🎬 👨‍🚀 You can't break a key you never saw , A @0xMiden Guardian never shows the key. 🔑 guardian!
PQ-secure client-side proving is one of the best defenses against quantum computers and AI-assisted elliptic curve breaks. Say in some near future we find out that AI figured out how to reduce security of elliptic curves. What we thought has 128 bits of security actually has only 80 bits. Everyone needs to scramble to increase key sizes, which means major upgrades to protocols, apps. HW wallets and HSMs may no longer work and we'd need to build new ones, and much much more. Same happens if a viable quantum computer appears. It may not be able to break things fast enough initially - so, we'll have time to migrate - but any protocol where signatures/public key are know to the network needs to scramble to upgrade and change its very fundamentals. But - if we have client side proving, there is absolutely no rush and nothing needs to change immediately. The keys and signatures are never shared with the network, so we can keep using the same cryptography, same HW wallets, same HSMs etc. It would still be a good idea to migrate - but the migration could take many years, and be done much more safely.

What makes the BTC-Sr and BTC-Jr concept appealing is the ability to get more exposure to Bitcoin without the usual pressure of liquidation. This could change how people approach long-term investing. Curious to see how it expands into the stock market too.
More Bitcoin than you own, held as long as you want, with no price that takes it away from you. Stocks next. 2factor.finance

From @2FactorFinance perspective, not every Bitcoin investor should approach the market in the same way. By splitting capital into BTC-Sr and BTC-Jr, the project offers two different options for two different investment mindsets. If you’re someone who prefers to play it safe, look for yield with lower volatility, and avoid taking on the full impact of BTC’s ups and downs directly, BTC-Sr could be an interesting option to explore. But if you’re more bullish on Bitcoin’s future, willing to take on more risk, and want greater exposure to BTC with your existing capital, BTC-Jr may be a better fit for your approach. For me, what makes @2FactorFinance interesting isn’t just its technical structure. It’s the idea that choosing between these two options depends on how we view the market, how much risk we’re willing to take, and what we expect from our investments. Neither option is an absolute winner, and both come with their own risks. What matters is understanding which model better aligns with your personality and financial goals.
