There's something deeply sad and moving about a novel set in the past that resonates closely with present reality. It's like the grief settles deeper. We never seem to move on, just circle back, and further back. @sombatabyal @ContextIndia #BangladeshCrisis #IndiaBangladesh

In the short run, you can't escape the macro backdrop; and in the long run, micro stories triumph - always.
Apart from being a superb chronicle of very messy times, this is a delightful read. Well done @sombatabyal.
4⭐, recommended!
Well, there are endorsements. And then there is this. A bad morning just became very very good.
Microreview: Red River comes highly recommended and lives up to the promise. And more. Written in prose that leaps off the pages, this is a book that will keep you hooked till the very end. Red River is a literary triumph! Congratulations @sombatabyal
