AD&D MONSTER MANUAL DRAWING CHALLENGE
I will try this little game as a way to practice chara design and illustration. The MM has a striking iconography and very interesting monsters, and I hope to have drawn as much inspiration as possible by the end of it.
People are getting mad at this phrasing but please, consider the fact that after WW1 he spent decades being an academic, and that's not exactly adventurous.

Pro creative advice:
Doesn't matter how skilled you are as an artist, if you're a terrible human being, no one will hire you. No one wants to work with a prick.
You'll just be the most skilled unemployed artist.
Literature is like food: candies and hamburgers everyday make you obese, chicken and veggies are healthy but can get dull without the Sunday feast, and eating only caviar makes you homo.

This kind of anti-apprenticeship attitude among young artists nowadays is why seemingly every other piece of art online is either anime or furries in apartments or flat backgrounds.
Such stuff can be easily replicated by AI btw

[POST] Niches and Masses: On how we can look for the right type of audience

Don’t Nod, the studio behind the original Life is Strange, is collapsing.
The French developer is facing a near-total layoff, up to 85 jobs, which would leave its French teams with only a small number of employees.
The studio has struggled with a string of underperforming releases, the most recently the sci-fi adventure Aphelion.
Don’t Nod has warned that it may not have enough funding to continue operating beyond January 31, 2027, and has entered a French “safeguard” procedure to restructure its finances.
The layoffs will continue until video games improve

JUST IN: Pope Leo sends message to Assisi peace meeting on its 40th anniversary.
He states: “There is no such thing as a holy war: only peace is holy”
Adds that the “spirit of Assisi” must be the “shared quest for peace is, first and foremost, the path of prayer”
“The path of Assisi calls religious leaders to foster a climate of dialogue amongst the faithful and within society, so that the language of arrogance may give way to the language of peace, negotiation and understanding”
His message focusses on peace building using work of different religions, rather than promoting ecumenism as an end in itself.
