Here's a fun Speech Pathology week memory from 2012.
That 2 year old is 13 now, he and his brother insist that odd socks are better than matching ones!
Communication is so valuable, whether it's about small things (socks!) or bigger ones.

Intensive Day ??? (I've lost count!).
Talking about strong and weak syllables & making nicknames out of the strong one.
(Client's name isn't pictured here).
I deliberately left out Andrew (Andy or Drew?), Patricia (Pat or Trish?), Elizabeth (Eliza, Liz, Beth?).

If you think waiting 3 seconds before giving feedback in ReST therapy is a long time... try waiting *10* seconds between turns while playing Jenga! Apparently that's what the rules tell you to do!

Do you remember when you joined Twitter? I do!
I was in a meeting where some marketing dude was trying to convince us to use Twitter to promote the org I was working for.... I googled "Speech Pathologists" and Twitter, and found the #slpeeps ! #MyTwitterAnniversary
Intensive, Day 5.
I have a client who has trouble with words which contain both /k/ and /t/.
We founds some very motivating words to practice with- tic tac, kit kat, skittles. #mySLTday
Day 2 of the July Intensive, and I've been having fun with this "DTTC dice". The nice people at Kmart call it an emotions dice, but I'm using it practice varying intonation patterns.
