With all due respect, no. This is NOT how you should be thinking about comms. Yes, u can still play games and draw personal stuff. But that doesn't give you the right to make clients wait forever for you to stop procrastinating. I wouldn't trust an artist like this.

if you’re not okay w/ waiting as long as it takes for an artist to work, don’t commission them in the first place. artists are also allowed to do things outside of art, including playing games, & making anyone feel guilty for the time it takes them to work is a shitty thing to do

Is it strange that I inherently view digital games much much less valuable than physical to a degree that 90% of the time I outright refuse to purchase a full priced digital game until it’s heavily discounted?
