News Article: Family and friends of Jon Devereux will take on Great North Run
"Family and friends of a super-fit rugby player who collapsed and died during the Bristol Half Marathon are taking on their own 13-mile challenge in his memory on Sunday.
"The Great North Run was his favourite half marathon so it seemed fitting that we took on this challenge in Newcastle, a place that Jon often said was the friendliest in the UK."

My first talk at @sportexercise is when does a food become a supplement? Here is the kicker - I'm going to propose that perhaps this isnt the important question when it comes to athlete safety amd anti doping. Looking forward to the discussion on this one.

Who knew running was such a roller coaster sport? In April I broke an Aussie marathon age record at Boston. Two weeks ago I broke my shoulder and elbow, taking a tumble during my morning session. Finally, all has settled enough for surgery. Learning about bones. And patience

I first met a talented young runner called @paulajradcliffe in 1991. In 1992, she won the world junior cross-country championships - in Boston. It’s lovely to be here in the same city 33 years later to see her round off her brilliant career. #symettry Go Paula!
