FLASHBACK to the infamous physical altercation between Nicki Minaj’s security team and Cardi B at the 2018 Harper’s Bazaar ICONS Party. 😭😭😭
After multiple failed attempts to get the Queen’s attention, Cardi B finally saw an opportunity to force her way into Nicki Minaj’s narrative and make herself the spectacle of the evening in a very classless and tasteless manner.
She seized upon a FAKE tweet alleging that Nicki had liked a tweet discussing her children and used it as justification for repeatedly attempting to attack her. THE TWEET WAS FAKE!!!
Unfortunately for Cardi, Nicki Minaj is not just the Queen of Rap but one of the most powerful women in the music industry, and she moves PROTECTED and certainly with CLASS.
That evening was a brutal reminder that access to the Queen is not unrestricted, and this was certainly not some street brawl where everybody gets to act however they please.
Nicki went on with her evening, untouched, unbothered and UNFAZED, while Cardi reportedly left with a massive, swollen knot on her head, allegedly inflicted by Rah Ali, and a dress shredded to pieces. Naturally, the sympathy tour followed, with Cardi positioning herself as the victim, as usual.
That evening remains a genuinely PROUD DAY to be a BARB. I could NEVER imagine Nicki Minaj lowering herself to physical altercations when she has people capable of putting a bitch in check on her behalf. She doesn’t have to descend into the gutter to establish her position. 😭😭😭
THAT is the difference between a QUEEN and a Street HOE. 😭

these industry plant allegations about ice spice, I’m tired…
1. 4 Grammy nominations, 0 wins
2. Built her own buzz before signing to a major label
3. Owns her masters and publishing, with full creative control and no traditional label directing her music like yall favorite artists
I mean yall can acknowledge colorism without discrediting Ice Spice’s success or pushing a baseless industry plant narrative just because it’s popular to hate her now
