🔰 UPI Remains Free for Consumers UPI continues to be free for customers. Sending money to friends, paying at shops, or scanning a QR code — all remain without charges. Key Facts: ✅ No charges on P2P: Person-to-Person transfers are always free, regardless of amount. ✅ Small merchants protected: Vendors earning up to ₹1 lakh per month via UPI QR codes continue to enjoy zero charges. ✅ Everyday payments safe: Over 95% of merchant payments are below ₹2,000 — these remain free. ✅ Nominal MDR above ₹2,000: Only larger merchant transactions above ₹2,000 attract a small fee (0.4%) to be borne by merchants, far lower than credit card charges or other network charges. ✅ Essential services capped: Railways, fuel, telecom, bill payments, insurance, etc have a flat fee of ₹5 per transaction above ₹2,000. ✅ Special low rates: Mutual fund and securities payments attract just 0.02%, capped at ₹300. Safeguards for Consumers ✅Banks instructed: Merchants cannot pass MDR costs to customers. ✅No hidden fees: UPI apps cannot levy platform charges. Debunking the “External Pressure” Myth: ✅ Some claims suggest the change is due to foreign influence. This is false. India’s UPI policy decisions are made independently, with the clear goal of building a self-sustaining, inclusive, and affordable digital payments ecosystem. Why This Matters: Since its launch in 2016, UPI has grown into the world’s largest real-time interoperable payment system — entirely on India’s own terms. UPI processed 24.5 billion transactions in August 2026 alone. To keep this system self-sustainable, secure and innovative, a small fee on high-value merchant transactions helps fund: ☑️Better infrastructure and cybersecurity ☑️Support for small merchants in Tier III–VI towns and rural areas ☑️Awareness and incentives to expand UPI adoption The new framework ensures resources from higher-value merchant transactions are reinvested to support small businesses and strengthen digital payments across the country. 🔗Read FAQs at: financialservices.gov.in/sit…

The "miracle drug" that's helped millions drop body fat... Ozempic. It works, but... You don't need the cost or side effects to unlock a lot of its fat loss magic. You can get it's power from food instead. This is how you can eat your 'Ozempic':

People call me crazy for 2 reasons. First, because I quit my 2 cr/yr U.S. job and came back to India to fight companies which are doing false marketing. Second, because I’ve said no to hundreds of food brands which have offered me huge amounts of money to promote them. I’ve obviously said no to junk food promotions, but I’ve even said no to all clean food brands asking me to promote them. I want to make it clear that I’m not struggling financially and I am living a comfortable life. But I am struggling to scale our impact. - I want to lab-test every product I review which is expensive - I want to hire experts to review shampoos, toothpastes etc - I want to hire experts to design a health curriculum for Indian schools - I want to hire senior lawyers to fight back everytime I get a court case I still have only a team of 2 college freshers. I’ve worked every single day for the past 2 years, without taking a day off, and I am very burnt out. Everyday I have to make tough decisions, from saying no to politicians asking me to join their rallies, to saying no to CEOs of India’s biggest food brands threatening me to delete their videos. But I do not want to make all the decisions by myself. I want all of you to have a voice in the future of our health movement. From now on, for every major decision I take, I will put out polls on my Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, YouTube and all of you will play an active role in our movement. Let us make India a healthier country….together! #IndianHealthRevolution

Today, if you are interested in installing some solar panels but don't have the roof space necessary because you live in an apartment or a rented house, there's no solution. Despite the subsidies, only about 10% of urban households have rooftop solar. That means many people are conscious about being sustainable but can't do anything. @sundaygrids is taking an interesting approach to solve this problem. They setup solar power plants in other locations and allow people to reserve a part of the capacity in the plant. This generates credits, which can be used to reduce the power bill, even though the plant is in a different place. They are now live across India. Various governments are now coming up with regulations to encourage third-party solar models. I think this is a cool way to make solar accessible to the masses. We've invested in @sundaygrids through @Rainmatterin. 1/2

What is at stake in this election: 1. For so long, our country simply got used to politicians in power amassing wealth. For the last 10 years, we have a Prime Minister who not even opponents can accuse of personal corruption. Likewise with all his cabinet colleagues. 2. We have seen progress in so many fronts: railways, roads, airports, factories, toilets - so many areas. 3. Going around India, I feel the sense of optimism that arises from seeing things WORK. For a 55 year old Indian like me, that is refreshing, and the private sector is also very energized. I am personally energized to work harder in R&D after seeing this dynamism. 4. India is now recognised as a legitimate rising power treated with respect and not as a charity case to be pushed around. And we don't get "hyphenated" with our neighbor. I support our Prime Minister for this reason. Let's vote carefully 🙏
