Looking at the tweets here, I wonder if we deserved him.
In any case, here is a thread on Gandhi.

Can someone add some intelligence into the ios share intent please? Tired of everything being so smart but I have to change the group I share to on slack everytime!
Scary! GDP wont increase till we retire this tech debt. Wonder how many years it will take and how liable the model companies are for every such hack.

Models know when they’re reward hacking. But they still do it a ton - in 50-96% of rollouts we studied!
We built activation monitors that detect the behavior behind the Hugging Face hack in real time. This can help us stop hacks now - and train future models that don’t cheat. 🧵
If this attempt to do regulatory capture does not work, my guess is future frontier models will be priced in the range of +20% of open source models.
Or some change in pricing where the model will think about the task/ workflows and then negotiate a price per successful execution of a task.
What is one contribution companies can do to help younger folks become more hireable?

Bookmyshow being valued at 800-900M USD is surprisingly low(8-9X revenue). My guess is that their anchoring on producing live entertainment v/s building an ecosystem is holding them back.
Interesting product by Cred. I always thought their end game was to be some sort of digital Costco, where membership unlocks value across use-cases.
Best of luck @miten

#JustIn | Ministry of Road Transport and Highways directs ride aggregators to remove pre-ride tipping prompts
👉Tipping option to be visible only after journey completion
👉No ‘Advance Tip’ prompts or similar features before ride completion
👉Aggregators cannot suggest that tipping may improve ride confirmation or driver acceptance
👉Entire tip amount must go to the driver; aggregators cannot deduct any portion
Interesting argument. We will all have jobs because we are all available compute.

The SPC community is one of the most active and impressive builder communities in India. Congrats @prateekmehta42 @ankitcc: Make a million more Indian builders bloom!
The greatest ideas and the people behind them, should never have dollars become the ceiling on their ambition.
And the loneliest, most uncertain phase of building, is the one that determines how far your ambition reaches. The minus one. That is where you need the truest form of support.
For a decade, that's the belief @spc has stood for. And it's shown us what great ambition can lead to, when the right set of conditions are created early on!
That is what we are here for.
Today we're announcing Fund IV: $575M!
To keep supporting excellence early on, and to go further. With everything we have.
From minus one, to well beyond!

Today we’re announcing SPC Fund IV: $575M to help founders find their life’s work.
A decade of guiding founders through -1 to 0 brings @SPC to $2B in AUM and, more importantly, a 1200 member community of the world’s most talented technologists. We strongly believe that:
→ The person comes before the idea. At -1, generational founders are often busy reading, prototyping, discarding, and earning the right to their own conviction.
→ Ambition is social. The people you surround yourself with in the early days play a big part in inflecting your ambition.
→ Patience compounds. It is better to work on something you have deep conviction in rather than simply sprint at the first idea.
The quiet months we protect at the beginning have produced three funds in the top 10% of their vintages, and companies like @baseten, @GammaApp, @render, @GoodfireAI, @LumaLabsAI, and @profound. We are proud to have worked with all these founders in their -1 phase and beyond.
While we defined -1 to 0, we're no longer bound by it. Fund IV allows us to partner with companies well beyond launch.
We're doing this now because we've never seen a wider gap between what's possible and what's being attempted. Intelligence is abundant. The cost of trying ideas keeps falling, and problems that seemed insurmountable a few years ago are quickly becoming solvable.
To our members, to the founders who trusted us before anyone else did, and to the LPs who had conviction in our own -1 journey: thank you. This milestone belongs to you as much as to us.
To the builders looking to find your life’s work: let’s get started.

At some level AI makes you come face to face with the inherent absurdity of the modern workplace. But then everyone agrees that it is best not to bring this up.

Cognitive slop - AI allows for an idea to be massaged so much that it feels like consultant speak.
I get around 300-400 cold pitches over email a month and yes, it's getting a bit overwhelming. Almost 90% of those are very clearly AI generated. I'm not against a really good AI heavy pitch but today 100% of those I can't even read beyond the first para. Takes too long to get to the point. Pretends to story-tell but falls flat. Adds incorrect context about me. Founders: if you can't imbibe your sense of ambition, taste, precision & clarity of thinking into AI, just do yourself a favour and write things down manually and copy paste to 100+ VCs if that's what you need to do. You'll get much better responses that way.
