A shirtless man in Chicago charged a firefighter in the middle of an active emergency.
A female officer was right there with a taser and didn’t stop him first.
The firefighter didn’t flinch. He swung his Halligan tool and dropped him with one hit.
Police moved in and restrained the man while witnesses watched.
Charging a firefighter holding a Halligan was a terrible decision.
Their miscalculation was deciding not to pay him to stay home. Offers would have improved when teams realize Jets are serious about it. Everyone knew they'd deal him when suspension ends.
The roster is terrible .
The coaching only slightly better than terrible.
Over rating the talent is their biggest downfall.
I think they would if the organization was honest and they could see direction but Chevy saying he felt this is a playoff team is outright lying. Nobody is that stupid. I've had them last in the Central all along.
Id go outside the box and hire Ryan Papaioannou. Great with young players, upcoming coach, unreal w-l record in junior and has carried it over to pro ranks (Abbotsford currently).

Nothing will change and honestly what can change? When Morrissey comes back you have 3 legit top players with Connor and Scheifele. Vilardi is a decent top six. Perfetti is a decent top six. Pionk is probably a number 4 D. Everyone else just interchangeable parts.

It's on the GM to look fans in the eye and say the 8th overall pick is stepping into the lineup and assuming the 2C role on a team that is going to contend. It's on the fans who truly believed that was a legit solution.
