Frankel has been very much in the news this week as his reputation as a sire has been strengthened by recent big race results.
It was actually Frankel who started my love affair with horse racing photography. It was this photo that I took on my Sony Ericsson C905 after Frankel won The Lockinge at Newbury in 2012 that started me off on a journey that I have thoroughly enjoyed and gained great pleasure from.
After this, I was running around racecourses with my mobile for a year or so before @meteorshoweryn who had seen my keen enthusiasm gifted me his Nikon D300 when he had to return to Japan when his visa ran out. I remember Yuji putting it around my neck at Kempton the day before he caught his flight home. I was quite humbled.
I just wish I’d discovered this wonderful hobby earlier in my life. It’s a hobby that feeds the soul and captures memories that last a lifetime.
If I won the lottery, I wouldn’t tell anyone but there would be signs… 🦄🤩 #Dreamologist

Next weekend is the Sergeant Reckless festival on Jeju. Robin Hutton's book has now been published in Korean. I met Robin and Reckless memorial sculptor Jocelyn Russell more than 10 years ago & they were back in Seoul recently. We have all aged - some better than others!
