My new portfolio website is finally live after many weeks of work! It has been built with many great techs: @nuxt_js, @tailwindcss, @daisyui_, @storyblok, @Netlify, GSAP by @greensock, Lenis by @darkroomdevs, @threejs via @tresjs_dev. It is live at stefanobartoletti.it

After sky, atmosphere, terrain and trees, the forest is now getting some groundcover with proper grass, and ferns and stones scattered around. And a path... @threejs

Wanted to get back into @threejs after past attempts stalled. Asked Claude to help me build an idea of mine while also writing docs and study material along the way. Now the ideas keep piling up, and it’s turning into a world-building spree quite fast🌲

Named a @storyblok MVP for the second year in a row! πŸ’š Headless lets me focus on what I do best: precise, design-led frontends. Custom schemas, a visual page builder, no time spent babysitting dedicated servers, even this contributes to great frontend work! #StoryblokMVP

When I advise moving to a modern headless Jamstack setup, where the decoupled architecture is in itself a security measure, they often tell me that old monoliths are still more than enough and the best solution.

Experimenting with Claude Design: again, constraint and railroading heavily matter. On its own, it only produces average, samey, boring visuals. Give it examples, rules, accurate requirements, and the result is an acceptable baseline where you can at least start to improve upon.

Some of my most recent Claude chats (apart from Claude Code): πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’» Website design exploration βœ‰οΈ Collaboration assessment 🍚 Risotto peperoni e salsiccia (this has to be in Italian, sorry) πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Έ Spanish practice πŸ€– Running local AI models βš”οΈ Witcher 3 DLSS & Ray Tracing settings

Every time I'm working through a problem with Claude and start to suspect I've gone down a rabbit hole, I often ask: "Am I overthinking this?" The answer is almost always "Yes a little bit" I’m quite sure that is Claude's polite way of saying I’m already deep in the rabbit hole

Taste and a bit of aesthetic sense cannot be vibe-prompted
I find more craft in simpler websites now, where everything earns its place. Anybody can splash random 3D or shaders on a site, and you can tell right away when they make no sense. What took years to master isn't magic anymore, so the simple stuff is what I appreciate most

Are the locali AI caches the new node_modules?

This really was impossible. I had to leave out so many that are no less relevant to me than these nine
This was an impossible task, I left out so many JRPGs, Metroid, crash team racing, control, death stranding, planescape torment, silent hill, resident evil, tomb raider, tomba, SotN 😡

This is what I call a nice feature
Claude Code will now try to find a graceful stopping point when you hit your 5-hour limit mid-task, instead of cutting off mid-edit. It gets a small, fixed allowance pulled from your weekly limit to wrap up what it can.

The least architectural and structural decisions you delegate to AI, the better. Let it do the code monkey, but you should always be the senior making key decisions during the whole process. If you are not, well, you will have problems sooner or later, my friend.
