People can claim they are killing for God, but a personโs claim is not the same thing as Godโs approval.
Jesus said, โThou shalt not killโ (Matthew 5:21, KJV, referring to the commandment against murder). He also taught us to love our enemies (Matthew 5:44) and said, โBlessed are the peacemakersโ (Matthew 5:9).
So before anyone claims that violence is being committed in Godโs name, shouldnโt we examine that claim against Scripture?
Godโs name is not a shield for human pride, hatred, greed, revenge, or ambition. Calling something holy does not make it holy.
We are approaching 2027, yet humanity continues to wage war and take lives while appealing to God and country. But the question is not simply what a government commands or what a person believes is justified. The question is whether our actions are consistent with Godโs will.
I speak from personal experience. I was once part of that world. I understand what it means to be trained for violence and to believe in a cause.
But I no longer believe that a uniform, an oath, or a claim of righteousness should exempt anyone from examining their actions before God.
Do not merely ask whether you believe you are serving God. Ask whether your actions truly reflect His teachings.
FYI I was literally one of the first few thousand to join and promote @RegimentGG this is why I deem myself an OG member. While itโs been a while since me and @Entxurage have spoken Iโm proud of all that he has accomplished. With this being said my views and beliefs are mine. No one can take that from me. If he deems Iโm no longer a good fit for Regiment Iโm cool with that. What part of God over family do you not understand?
Saved not soft.
Running around killing people for a government, a state, or a country does not automatically make it righteous. And putting Godโs name on it doesnโt make it holy.
No human being can simply declare that God approves of something and expect that claim to make it true. We must examine what God actually says.
We are approaching 2027, and humanity is still killing one another while claiming to do it for God, country, honor, or freedom. But a noble-sounding reason does not automatically make an action righteous.
How much of this is truly obedience to God, and how much is human pride, hatred, greed, power, revenge, and selfish desire?
I say this as someone who was once part of that world. I know what it means to be trained for violence and to believe in the purpose behind it.
But being trained to do something does not automatically make it morally right. Wearing a uniform does not make a person righteous, and invoking Godโs name does not make every act permissible in His eyes.
If we claim to serve God, we must be willing to examine ourselves by His Word rather than use His name to justify our own desires.
Psalm 119:126 โ When people disregard God's law
KJV โIt is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.โ
NIV โIt is time for you to act, LORD; your law is being broken.โ
NASB โIt is time for the LORD to act, For they have broken Your law.โ
NLT Calls on the Lord to act because evil people have broken His law.
NKJV โIt is time for You to act, O LORD, For they have regarded Your law as void.โ
NRSVue โIt is time for the LORD to act, for your law has been broken.โ
NET โIt is time for the Lord to act โ they break your law!โ
NIrV โLord, itโs time for you to act. People are breaking your law.โ
GOD'S WORD (GW) Says people have abolished God's teachings.
Daniel 3:18 โ Refusing to obey a king against God
The context is Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refusing to worship King Nebuchadnezzar's golden image, even if God does not rescue them.
KJV โWe will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden imageโฆโ
NKJV โWe do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold imageโฆโ
NIV โWe will not serve your gods or worship the image of goldโฆโ
ESV โWe will not serve your gods or worship the golden imageโฆโ
NLT โWe will never serve your gods or worship the gold statueโฆโ
CSB โWe will not serve your gods or worship the gold statueโฆโ
NASB โWe are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden imageโฆโ
NRSVue โWe will not serve your gods and we will not worship the golden statueโฆโ
GW โWeโll never honor your gods or worship the gold statueโฆโ
NIrV Expresses the refusal in especially simple language, emphasizing that they would not worship the king's gods.

I just took a piss outside and itโs so hot my penis melted and my urine evaporated at the apex while still climaxing.
Blessings, my dear old friend and lover.
I wish you nothing but happiness, peace, and all the beautiful things this life could ever offer you. Iโve pondered and prayed since our last conversation, reflecting on everything that was, everything that could have been, and everything I know I can no longer change.
You have always been someone I believed deserved more than I could give. I know Iโve hurt you deeply, and I know that no words I write now can return the time you spent waiting, the lonely nights, or the sadness you endured. Those nights filled with sorrow and longing are feelings Iโm all too familiar with myself. Perhaps that is part of what makes knowing I caused you that kind of pain so difficult to accept.
What I told you before, that you deserved better than me, I meant. I know those words hurt you, but in my own flawed way, I thought I was trying to protect you from being hurt by me any further. I understand the paradox in that. An oxymoron, so to speak: trying to spare someone pain by becoming the very reason they hurt.
There is an old saying that if you truly love someone, you must sometimes set them free. I knew letting you go would hurt, but I couldnโt bear the thought of continuing to hurt you. So, in a sense, I tried to push you away. I thought that if I made it easier for you to leave me, perhaps you could find the happiness I feared I could never give you. I cannot say I handled it the right way, and I cannot pretend that my intentions erase the pain my actions caused. I only wish you had never had to hurt because of me.
There is something else I never told you, something Iโve carried with me even before our last conversation.
I never truly understood why you chose me. I never knew what you saw in me that made you want to stay. Iโve always felt as though I wasnโt good enough for you, and even now, despite everything that has happened, that feeling has never entirely left me.
I wish you the world and then some. I wish you a love that brings you peace, a happiness that doesnโt leave you questioning your worth, and a life filled with the kind of warmth and certainty that I have never quite known how to find for myself. And yet, Iโve always struggled with the belief that these are things I cannot give you, especially because Iโve never looked at the world the way most people seem to.
This world has never felt like a place where I truly belong. Iโve never fit in anywhere, and somewhere along the way, I learned to be comfortable with that. Perhaps I even prefer it that way. Iโve spent much of my life feeling like an outsider, looking at things differently, searching for something beyond what this world has to offer. I donโt know whether that makes me different, broken, or simply someone who was never meant to follow the same path as everyone else. I only know that Iโve never quite felt at home here.
And perhaps that is why loving you was both such a beautiful thing and such a difficult one. You were someone I cared for deeply, someone I wanted happiness for even when I struggled to believe I could be the person who gave it to you. But you were never undeserving of love, and you were never wrong for choosing me. Whatever shortcomings I saw in myself were mine to wrestle with, not yours to carry.
I cannot undo the past, nor can I ask you to forget the pain I caused. I can only be honest about what was in my heart, even if I did a poor job of showing it when it mattered most.
So, wherever life takes you, I pray you find the happiness, love, and peace you deserve. I pray that the days ahead are kinder to you than the days behind us, and that when you look back on what we shared, the hurt will not be the only thing you remember.
You were someone I loved, someone I cared for, and someone whose happiness has always mattered to me. That is something I will not deny, even with the distance between us now.
Blessings to you, my dear old friend and lover. May life give you more than I ever could, and may you never have to question whether you are worthy of it.
