I don't even know what to say. This is just unbelievable. My entire indie hacker expenses (the cost of AI and services for dailygram) are largely covered by X payouts. Crazy.
Chat, what can I say? I’m just happy. My first payout and my first viral post about something I actually built. Thank you to @levelsio and @marclou for inspiring me to join this community, and to all the people I’ve chatted with along the way. I feel like I’m giving a thank-you speech after winning an Oscar, which is completely out of character for me, but hey... I’m just happy I finally managed to stay consistent with something

X FINALLY tells you if you’ve been shadowbanned Check yours here 👇🏻 nitter.cf/i/jf/under_the_hood Here is my september report: > 2,416 posts. > 1 flagged as spam (0.04%). > 1 flagged as NSFW (0.04%). > ZERO account-level restrictions. Nice ✨
Under the Hood now shows you which posts received a visibility-limiting label, making it easier to see what’s affected: nitter.cf/i/jf/under_the_hood This was a top request — thanks for the feedback. You’ll see the specific posts listed when fewer than 5% of your posts during the report period have that label.

this app is crazy good @rianjohnson
So I recently badgered my cinematographer @steveyedlin into making my ideal iPhone still camera app. It shoots RAW, bypasses the iPhone's look processing and instead uses the same image processing we use on our movies. apps.apple.com/app/apple-sto…

There's literally ONE reason a touchscreen MB would make sense: The iOS Simulator everything else feels like a solution looking for a problem

Dashboards are useless. Period. Just 2 months ago, I wanted dashboards for everything, today they seem like a total waste of time and resources I never thought I would say something like this, but here we are...

How do you guys trust AI enough to ship without checking what it built? I'm running 5 to 8 agents in parallel, but I still need to check the final output before pushing to prod. I know there are workflows and tools to automate this, but I can't seem to let go yet Anyone else struggling with this or am I just slow to adapt?

Did they really put someone writing code by hand in an official MacBook Pro ad?
Everyday tasks? No sweat. Faster graphics? Nailed it. On-device AI? You bet. It’s the new 14-inch MacBook Pro and iMac, faster than ever and supercharged by M6.

I woke up with this strange feeling that Claude Duet could be really, really cool. Even cooler and more useful than Grok Bot, which I love. And it made me realize one thing: Anthropic, imho, feels like the AI company that’s furthest ahead in this race right now, followed by SpaceSI. I’ve barely used OpenAI over the past month, and I’m cancelling my subscription today. I still use Astra, but mostly because I have tokens left to burn. And it looks like Anthropic couldn’t have picked a better time to file for an IPO

.@grok tell us more about Peter Sellis and why he’s the best choice to replace @nikitabier
I’m joining the team at @X to lead Product. I am a huge believer in @SpaceX's mission to extend human consciousness to the stars, so it’s time to make shitposting multiplanetary. X is the best way to find out what’s happening in the world right now and talk about it. The team has been working tirelessly to make X a better place and product for the people who love it, and many have noticed the recent momentum. My goal is to help accelerate that momentum for our community, new users, and businesses globally by continuing to make this product beautiful and useful. We are twenty years in, but it truly feels like X’s next chapter will be our greatest. I look forward to your ideas and feedback; I’m sure the replies will be measured and magnanimous.

The worst thing you can do right now as a dev is think you're better than AI. The absolute worst.
