Collaboration is a mindset and set of skills. It's a messy & occasionally frustrating activity. Short term it can take longer than not collaborating. Longer term, effective collaboration delivers exceptional results. But to get there, we must first take a look at ourselves.

If Zelensky Is So Corrupt, Why Can’t Anyone Buy Him? 🇺🇦 I just realized something almost hilarious if it wasn’t very obvious and also real about the whole anti-Zelensky narrative. For years we have been told that Zelensky is corrupt, illegitimate, a puppet, a billionaire thief, some CIA creation, whatever version happens to be useful that day. And yet somehow Putin, Trump, oligarchs, billionaires and the entire anti-Ukraine political machine still cannot control him. Think about that contradiction. Zelensky was elected in 2019 with about 73% of the runoff vote. Ukraine has not held another presidential election because elections are suspended under martial law during Russia’s invasion, something Zelensky has said could change if conditions allow a safe and legal vote. Meanwhile Trump, Elon and others are now openly calling for Ukraine to replace him after Zelensky refused demands to stop attacking Russian energy infrastructure and bend over to them. And this is where their own propaganda stops making sense. If Zelensky were really as spectacularly corrupt as they claim, why wouldn’t somebody have bought him years ago? Putin has all the money. Russian oligarchs have money. Western billionaires have money. Elon has more money than all of them. Trump has political power. There are people with enormous financial and geopolitical interests who would benefit from a Ukrainian president willing to make the right deal for them. If Zelensky were really nothing but a corrupt opportunist, the easiest path imaginable would have been to take the money, make peace with Putin on Putin’s terms, protect himself, become insanely wealthy, powerful and live comfortably ruling the Ukraine and the area as a probably richest dictator on earth. Instead, Russia invaded, Zelensky stayed, Ukraine kept fighting, and years later these people are still trying to pressure him, discredit him, replace him and convince everyone that he is somehow the problem. Trump and Elon has now publicly called for Ukraine to get a new president after Zelensky resisted pressure over Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries. Their relationship has deteriorated sharply precisely because Zelensky has continued pursuing policies Washington told him to stop. So maybe the reason so many powerful men seem absolutely fucking obsessed with Zelensky is much simpler than all the conspiracy theories. Maybe they hate him because they cannot break him. Maybe they hate him because they cannot buy him. Maybe they are simply jealous of him and his amazing courage and integrity.? And maybe nothing drives men obsessed with power more insane than another man they cannot control.

Just once, it would be nice to see anyone in MAGA say how terrible it is that Russia invaded Ukraine, launched a murderous war, is targeting civilians in major cities, and should stop immediately. Instead, they keep attacking Ukraine. Curious.
Over the last two years, $100 million in European taxpayer money has gone to Elon Musk to pay for Starlink for Ukraine. In that same period, zero US taxpayer money has gone to Ukraine.

“Why do some British people dislike Donald Trump?” Nate White, an eloquent and witty English writer, gave this magnificent answer: Trump lacks certain qualities that the British traditionally value. He has no nobility, no charm, no composure, no gravitas, no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no sensitivity, no self-awareness, no humility, no honour, and no grace — qualities with which, strangely enough, his predecessor, Mr Obama, was abundantly blessed. Although Trump may be ridiculous, he has never said anything ironic, amusing, or even remotely funny — not once, ever. I do not mean this rhetorically. I mean it literally: never. To the British, a lack of humour is almost inhuman. But with Trump, it is a fact. He does not even seem to understand what a joke is. To him, a joke is a crude remark, an illiterate insult, an act of casual cruelty. Trump is like a troll: he never laughs or enjoys himself; he merely squeals with delight or derision. And the most frightening thing is that he does not merely utter crude and stupid insults: he actually means them. His mind is nothing more than a robotic algorithm of petty prejudices and instinctive malice. There is no irony in him, no complexity, no subtlety, no depth. Everything is superficial. What we see is a man without an inner world, without a soul. In Britain, we traditionally side with David, not Goliath. All our heroes are courageous underdogs: Robin Hood, Dick Whittington, Oliver Twist. Trump is neither courageous nor an underdog. He is the exact opposite. He is not even merely a spoiled rich boy or a greedy fat cat. He is more like a giant white slug, a privileged Jabba the Hutt. And, worse still, he is a bully. When he finds himself among other bullies, he suddenly becomes a whining lackey. He punches down — something a gentleman should never, could never, and must never do — and every blow he delivers is below the belt. He particularly enjoys attacking the vulnerable or the voiceless, and he kicks them when they are down. That is why the fact that a substantial minority — perhaps a third — of Americans watch what he does, listen to what he says, and then think, “Yes, he seems like my kind of guy,” is a source of bewilderment and profound distress to the British. After all, it is impossible to read a single tweet of his or hear him utter a sentence or two without staring into the abyss. He turns shallowness into an art form. He is the Picasso of pettiness, the Shakespeare of shit. His flaws are fractal: even his flaws have flaws, and so on to infinity. There have always been stupid people in the world, and villains have never been in short supply either. But rarely has stupidity been so evil, or evil so stupid. He makes Nixon seem trustworthy and George W. Bush seem intelligent. If Frankenstein had decided to create a monster composed entirely of human flaws, he would have created Trump, and the remorseful Dr Frankenstein would have cried out in despair, “My God, what have I created?” If an idiot were a television show, Trump would be the entire set.

The way Zelensky has handled this war, the relationships he has built, how he’s handled people, how he has played his position politically to ensure Ukraine receives continued support even through the frustrations has been incredible. Not many people see how he handles situations when Ukraine is screwed over, when promises aren’t met, when Ukraine needs more support, but the hands he plays are something of an art-form. He handles different leaders, personalities and political systems individually and in the different forms they are required, this man is playing 100 games of Chess at the same time and making incredible moves with each turn. Zelensky may have short falls but one thing is for sure, without Zelensky, Ukraine would have never survived. He is a Hero along with many of the Ukrainians helping their war efforts to defend themselves. Zelensky’s name will go down in history with the Churchill’s of the past. His story, is every bit as magnificent, his determination is every bit as brave. His resolve is absolute. Long Live Ukraine.

Of course, we are not losing this war. But we are losing people. Because of the Russian attacks, we're losing people and time. It's such a pity, because our children don't have a real life and childhood. Not only children, but all people. That's why we need to end this war as quickly as possible. I hope that our partners, Americans and Europeans, will help us. God bless, our strong soldiers stay strong on the battlefield. It helps me stay strong during any kind of negotiations.

Should Europeans now treat the USA as a hostile state, given its recent alliance with Russia? It's a serious question.
🇺🇦 Zelenskyy delivers a blunt message to the United States: “Just give us Starlink back. If you refuse, Ukraine will survive. We will continue defending ourselves with or without it. But why would you restrict a country fighting for its survival? Why make it harder for us to defend our people? I simply cannot understand the reasoning behind this decision. It is a mistake.” Ukraine isn’t asking America to fight its war. It’s asking America not to stand in the way of its defense.

“EUROPE WILL NOT STAND BY AND WATCH” GIORGIA MELONI: “Russia has launched a new autumn campaign against Ukraine. Unable to advance on the battlefield, Moscow has begun increasingly targeting the civilian population: power plants, residential buildings, hospitals, even buses carrying people to work, as in that horrifying massacre in Kramatorsk. This is a strategy through which Russia seeks to subjugate Ukraine through terror, cold, and darkness, simply because it has failed to subjugate it on the battlefield. The facts contradict Kremlin propaganda and those who spread it here: at the beginning of the year, Russia captured very little territory, and in September it lost much of what it had captured. This situation did not fall from the sky: it was achieved thanks to Ukraine’s courage and Western support, including that of Italy. This is the only effective tool to bring Russia to the negotiating table. I respect and understand the heated debate on this issue, even within this chamber, because no one here wants war. We all want peace. The difference lies in how we want to achieve it. As I see it, supporting Ukraine is not an alternative to peace; it is what makes peace possible. (Applause) Because if the aggressor seeks the capitulation of its opponent, why would it negotiate? But capitulation is not peace. It is conquest. If Ukraine stops defending itself tomorrow, as many suggest, we will not have peace. We will be discussing the occupation of a European nation and the return of Soviet imperialism. (Applause) Personally, I do not miss those times. I do not miss the Russian tanks that crushed the uprisings in Prague and Budapest. I do not miss the Berlin Wall. (Applause) And no one will convince me that the capitulation of those who defend their freedom can be called ‘peace.’ The peace we want and are working toward, even at the cost of concessions, is a just peace, because only a just peace can last. Only a just peace can safeguard Europe and our interests. Therefore, the government's position remains unchanged: support for Ukraine, with particular attention to the civilian population, pressure on Moscow, and Euro-Atlantic unity remain the pillars of our actions. In this context, we must address Donald Trump's diesel deal with Russia. This is a choice that I consider very risky. Naturally, we all share the need to contain fuel prices, which place a heavy burden on families, including those in Italy. But we must understand that rising prices are primarily linked to the war in Iran, not Ukraine. The legitimization of Moscow, whose bombs continue to fall on Ukrainian cities, new profits to finance the war, the weakening of sanctions — these are all elements we cannot ignore and which contradict what Western countries, including the United States, have done to force Putin to the negotiating table. (Applause) An energy ceasefire is another matter, one that Italy supports, and we are grateful to President Zelenskyy for Ukraine's immediate readiness to accept it. Now we expect Russia to stop attacking Ukraine's power grid. Ultimately, at such a difficult moment, when so many variables are getting out of control, there is at least one thing that depends on us: Europe will not stand by and watch, because the terms of peace affect our continent and our security.” Rome, Italian Senate and Chamber of Deputies. Speech dated October 14, 2026.

Trump wants Ukraine to stop bombing Russian oil refinerys. Why doesn't he make a deal to stop Putin bombing the Ukraine's energy infrastructure and in return Ukraine will stop destroying Russian oil refinerys? He's supposed to be a deal-maker!
Trump’s diesel deal with Putin makes no sense (it’s also immoral since it will fund the ailing Kremlin war machine). The US has no need of Russian diesel. It already refines more than enough for domestic demand — with 1.5m b/d for export. Russia has no diesel to export. Ukrainian drones have taken out a third of Russian refining capacity, turning Russia into a net importer of diesel (from India). The volumes involved are derisory. The initial Russian offer = 2.2m barrels. The US consumes 3.5m b/d. The price of diesel at the US pump is between $6/6.50. That won’t change before the midterms. The deal does nothing to help Trump in these elections. But it bolsters Putin and undermines Ukraine.

Trump doesn't want to hide anymore. He is Putin's business partner (a junior one!) and thus an accomplice in Russian crimes against humanity in Ukraine. And a reminder to members of Trump's administration, especially those who are planning to run for their boss's office in 2028—you will not be able to wash the blood of innocent Ukrainians from your hands. We see you and we will not forget, forgive, or let anyone else forget.
According to the Kremlin, today’s phone call between Putin and Trump lasted 1.5 hours. It was friendly — neither wanted to hang up first. “I’m ready to keep talking with Vladimir Putin today, this evening, tonight, and tomorrow,” Ushakov quoted Trump. Trump warmly congratulated Putin on his birthday, wished him success and well-being, and passed on greetings from the First Lady. Im going to be sick 🤢
