The adult men lining up to buy Pokemon cards should be placed under the same type of conservatorship as Britney Spears was
Hey @BestBuy, what an absolute disaster.
I waited 2 hours before opening with ~30 people ahead of me.
Then HUNDREDS emerged from their cars to “join friends” in line.
4 hours wasted. No Pokémon 30th Anniversary products. Just a booster bundle and a few packs.
To top it off, I left my chair behind. Your customer service says I need to DRIVE AN HOUR BACK just to find out if it's there.
Apparently nobody can call the store.
Meanwhile, @GameStop uses preorders and organized systems instead of turning releases into a free-for-all.
Give people numbers. Enforce the line. Respect customers' time.
I'm curious: Was anyone else's Pokémon release this poorly managed, or did I just find the worst Best Buy experience imaginable?

We got your back, New York!

Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026).

Ecco2k reemerged today with his new song “Aldehydes and Ketones,” accompanied by a sprawling, self-directed music video which was shot across 12 countries over the span of 6 years.
The song is produced by Gud and marks Ecco2k's first official solo release in nearly five years.

I had been holding off on posting my thoughts until the interview was released. Director Iñárritu’s “DIGGER” is a film that all of us living in today’s world should see. It is a work that remains with the audience, provoking reflection and sounding alarms. As you absorb this film and carry it with you, a “tool (a digger)” for delving deeper into the future will surely begin to take shape within you. This is a film that will stay by your side for years to come.
