Where does Te Tiriti say the Crown has the right to govern?
The Treaty Principles Bill says 1) the Crown has the right to govern, 2) New Zealanders' rights will be protected – including those of iwi, and 3) we all have equal rights. What's not to like?

Letting David Seymour chip away at Te Tiriti is a guaranteed tear in the fabric of our foundation, don’t let him be the dripping water that collapses the mountain of progress.

David speaks in English because it's the only language he speaks. Māori speak in English sometimes because it's the only language David speaks.

Why won’t you discuss your involvement in the Atlas Network, @dbseymour ?
Why won’t the media disclose in their reports that the leader of the hikoi, Eru Kapa-Kingi, works at Parliament for Te Pāti Māori and was a candidate for Te Pāti Māori?

Well, that should ensure we don’t get a 20% tariff slapped on all our exports to the US, then.
New Zealand and the United States have a strong and enduring partnership. Good to speak with President-elect @realDonaldTrump this morning to congratulate him on his historic election victory. We agreed on the importance of deepening ties between our two nations and I look forward to doing just that.

If the left don’t want to be permanently out of government, around the world, we need something big. Something visionary. Something transformative. Minor corrections to right-of-centre policies won’t do it. We need a bold, progressive vision. Where will it come from?

So much wrong with this (Internships? Unpaid work. Prayer? I’m guessing only a particular kind). But how will he enforce it with a Dept of Ed? He can’t “send it back to the states” and still have massive federal regulations around it. It’s like he’s not thought it through….
Donald Trump announces his 10-point plan to rebuild America's school system, Among others, promises to bring back 'school prayer. '

Those four bears. Respectively sacrificed a marmalade sandwich, a jar of honey, a picnic basket, and Paul McCartney. #PoppyPolice
I can’t get over the amount of people on the Bbc not wearing poppies as if to say the sacrifices our four bears made are not still recognisable they should be ashamed of themselves.

Yes, you read that right. Seymour is arguing that Māori kids have "every advantage in life". It takes only a very short engagement with the facts to know that is untrue.
Replying to @dbseymour
It means a capable young person can lose their place to someone who’s had every advantage in life, gets poorer grades, but has the “right” family tree. It’s divisive, and disrespectful to each person’s dignity, hard work and ability.

This is shameless and deliberate manipulation of the truth which entirely ignores the reasons for and value of ensuring we have Maori doctors. @dbseymour
Are you a smart young person who works hard? You deserve a fair chance to go to university based on your efforts, not your background. But Otago and Auckland universities choose who gets into medical school partly based on ethnicity. nzherald.co.nz/nz/who-is-get…

"The Democratic Party has moved too far left" No it hasn't and last time it actually did move significantly leftwards Americans liked it so much they gave the president 4 terms. You need universal programs. You need to tax the rich. You need to boldly lean into class warfare.

It really is astonishing that Adrian basically created an English idiom. Face eating leopards is beyond an internet joke by now. It’s just a saying.
