Love the way the #nufc twitter has turned into analogy central to describe what is going on at our club at the moment.
We don’t need to sugarcoat what is blatantly obvious.
The blame lies firmly at the owners door here.
The owners people like myself championed despite the obvious issues that it would bring to us personally by those opposed to Saudi involvement in UK sport.
Poor recruitment in the boardroom leading to a revolving door for CEO’s and Sporting Directors.
Rubber stamping poor signings.
Allowing people to make promises that nobody was keeping.
Allowing a manager to leave 3 weeks before the season started and replacing him with a man who has no experience in the Premier League.
Not getting rid of those behind the scenes that are still of an Ashley regime mindset.
They have turned a trophy winning team going places into a shambolic laughing stock.
There needs to be serious action taken by the man at the top.
Bringing out more retro gear for fans to buy ahead of a xmas many fans can’t afford won’t solve the problem we have scoring goals or conceding them. Wake up man and sort it out before we are in the Championship.
Away from #nufc our true neighbours are in limbo. This needs to be sorted out asap. Let’s hope Shoreline can make the decision that could be the difference between the club having a future or not. Good luck to Flacks and the heed army. #gatesheadfc #heedarmy

There is street racing
In your street
Where folk walk quickly
On their feet
There mission simple
To beat you
And get there first
Before you do
But if i sense
A change of speed
I quicken up
Oh yes indeed
On the flat
Or up a ramp
I’m the noughties
Street walking champ!

I’m sorry but this manager is out of his depth and has been hung out to dry in this window. The owners need to get a grip of this situation before things get any worse. Getting narky with local journos won’t help either. #nufc
