You see how we go to work... We don't do too much. The way we show up for our students is how they show up for us. Very Cultured. Very Mindful. Very Magnet. @TuscMagnet
As a kid, the only Black girls I remember from novels are Jessi from The Babysitters Club and Cassie from Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry. Now, it warms my heart to see Big, Bold, Black girls as main characters with diverse, developed storylines. Thank you @katybusby19! @TuscMagnet

Students created commercials to advertise and "identify technological advancements on society in the United States..." Here are a few favorites from the 90s! How old were you when these things were popular?👀 @TuscMagnet #ibmyp #modernamerica
To show what they learned about the impact of music on the #CivilRightsMovement, students created album covers highlighting artists and songs from various genres. #ibmyp #historyinthemaking #coloroutsidethelines @TuscMagnet
After students created media projects based on chosen novels, they had the opportunity to explore career fields in #digitalmedia and tour the many options offered by the @UofAlabama. #wherelegendsaremade #sensationalsixth #lovelanguage @TuscMagnet
Thank you so much @TuscaloosaEduc1 for awarding me with a $1,500 grant to integrate more flexible seating options in my classroom. The students and I are very excited!
