Who else raised three Kentucky Derby winners and sang with Waylon Jennings?
What a life Arthur Hancock lived. Gone too soon, for certain, but left his imprint in so many ways. youtu.be/SQSQp9XdBGw?is=Yl_o…

‘Hancock had a “poetic sense that a moral choice is always within our reach.”’
‘He was not just well ahead of the pack. For too long, he was the pack. But right up until the time of his death, he kept fighting, and he made a difference.’
Wonderful piece by @BillFinley3 on Mr Hancock’s fight to make racing better.
The Week In Review: Arthur Hancock’s war on drugs and cheaters in racing began publicly in 1991 when he delivered what he called his “drugs-and-thugs speech” to the U. of Arizona Symposium on Racing, and, as @BillFinley3 writes, continued until his death.

Arthur Hancock COMPLETELY changed the way we raise horses at Newgate.
He gave us the inspiration to develop our extraordinary 50 acre + Trout Paddocks.
He generously gave us his time and knowledge, and in doing so one of the biggest lightbulb moments of my lifetime.
His influence and on Newgate has been profound. RIP Legend. 🐎🙏
