Ask $120k/Year Copywriter Anything (to Land Your Next $3k-$5k Retainer) 🔴 nitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1qGoNYlnQ…
The number one way to land clients as a copywriter right now is Black Friday.
Learn how to run a Black Friday campaign.
Know how to launch it for a business owner.
Then pitch them with your Black Friday strategy.
It’s the number one way to make money as a copywriter for the next 5 weeks.
If you’re an email copywriter, stop going after broke clients.
Who you target decides how much you make with email.
I make $10K a month with email. It’s my main specialty.
I landed an $8,300 a month retainer from a single client.
That’s not normal, and I won’t say it’s easy.
But a $3K to $4K a month client?
Land three of those and you’re at $10K a month.
Are you a copywriter?
Landed a paid client... maybe even hit $5,000-$10,000/month once?
But... you don't know where next month's clients are coming from?
You probably know the feeling.
You finish a project, check your pipeline, and realize you've got nothing lined up after it.
That all ends in 18 days.
On November 16, I'm opening the brand new Six-Figure Copy Accelerator for copywriters who want help getting out of that cycle and building toward consistent $10k-$15k+ months.
And there are only 30 spots available.
You'll work directly with me to land 2-4 premium retainer clients to ensure you're making $10,000+ per month every month.
You'll bring your client copy and your free value outreach to our weekly calls so I can look at it with you (and tell you exactly how to improve it).
If prospects keep disappearing after you send your rates, we'll go through those DM and sales recording conversations live.
If you're struggling with a client's emails or ads, bring the draft. I'll show you what I'd change and explain why.
You'll get weekly group coaching and live reviews, plus new monthly training on copy, outreach, and AI.
We'll also have a monthly mastermind where you can work through your next steps with me and 29 other serious copywriters who've already landed clients.
Already got several clients in the $9,000-$12,000/month range confirmed in the founding member cohort.
You'll get more than my advice. You'll get insights from multiple six figure copywriters to help you see even more of your blind spots to help level up even faster.
The requirements to join:
You need at least ONE paid copywriting client under your belt to get in.
The first 10 public founding spots will be $499 USD/month, then the price goes to $599 USD/month.
This founding cohort is capped at 30 spots. That way, I can give people the attention they're joining for. Once we're full, doors close.
Join the waitlist at my link in bio now to get first access to those 30 spots on November 16.
🤖 Made with AI
3 copywriting frameworks you need to learn from scratch:
• AIDA:
Attention, Interest, Desire, Action. It works in every piece of copy you’ll ever write.
• PAS:
Problem, Agitate, Solution. Learn it and you’ll crush it.
• SLO:
Story, Lesson, Offer. Not many people know this one. I just put a name to it. Open with a story, give the lesson, then move to the offer.
Storytelling is the key to copywriting going forward.
If you’re an email copywriter, don’t pitch anyone who doesn’t have an email list.
Only pitch people who already have one.
You’ll save yourself so many headaches.
And you’ll make a lot more money.
What’s a normal response rate on your first cold DM?
10 to 15%.
Send 10 DMs and you should get one or two replies.
If you’re nowhere near that, something’s off in your DMs.
If you’re hitting it, your DMs aren’t the problem, even if you can still optimize them.
Don’t assume you’re getting rejected because copywriter is in your bio.
Check your response rate first.
Scarcity makes your job 10 times easier as a copywriter
When you have power over the offer, you always have a reason to talk about it. Email and social media need that reason.
If nothing ever changes, people get bored. They numb out and tune out your emails, your ads, and your socials.
A deadline or a limited spot gives them a reason to pay attention again.

Black Friday is the biggest sales event of the year
A lot of people treat it like an Easter sale or a Labor Day sale. The numbers say otherwise.
US e-commerce sales hit $365 billion in Q4 of 2025. In Q3 they were $300 billion. That’s almost a 22% jump in one quarter.
Your clients want a piece of that.
How do you back up your pitch when you have no results to show yet?
Show the client what their competitors already did.
Pull up last year’s Black Friday campaigns from the businesses they look up to, then screenshot them in a Google doc or walk through them on a Loom.
That’s social proof.
These guys do it, so why don’t you?
It works best when the people in the screenshots are the ones your client wants to be like.
Your copy can’t sell a bag of garbage
You can run the craziest pre-launch warmup and waitlist, plus a full post-launch push.
Then you tell people, “Hey, I got a bag full of garbage. Do you want to buy it?”
Nothing’s going to work there.
Your copywriting skills won’t sell it.
The offer has to be something people want.

Is a $10 bottle of water at a concert a good offer?
In that context, yes. A bottle of water shouldn’t cost $10, but you’re inside the venue, you need water, and there’s nowhere else to buy it.
Your need is high and the options are zero, so $10 feels fine.
An offer is only good or bad in the situation it lands in.
An offer is a trade. That’s all it is.
If I give you this, you give me this. You give me money, and I give you a product or a service.
So what makes a good offer? Give people the thing they want.
Picture yourself hot, sweaty, and stuck in a packed stadium. What do you want more than anything in the world?

A Loom video makes it easier to land the client
Do a Loom where you walk through your idea and talk it through. Three, four, five minutes is all it takes, then you send it off.
The copywriters who add a quick Loom to their outreach land clients faster. It’s just easier that way.

I’m a copywriter and a $4.99 burger sign still got me
A fast food place near me had its Teen Burger on for $4.99. It’s usually around $9. Limited time.
I saw the sign and it worked. I’ve bought three burgers since the promo started.
You see this with fast food all the time. The McRib. Shamrock Shakes. Limited time offers work on everyone, including copywriters.
