“Yeah… you’re right...” She nodded before turning her body so fast to face him, meeting his eyes without hesitation.
“I’m Athena.” She held out her hand with an easy smile. “What’s your name?”
She gave a small nod, keeping her face perfectly showing no reaction. Inside, however, she was mentally kicking and cursing herself for that question.
“Anyway…” she said, brushing it off with a faint smile. “We go to the same university, don’t we?”
“Thanks.” She took the book from his hand. There was something oddly familiar about him.
“You like to read? I often see you here,” she said as she walked past him. If he decided to follow, she’d welcome the company. If he didn’t… well, that was fine too, maybe.
“Hey, mind grabbing that book for me?” she asked, nodding toward the top shelf.
“You’re blessed with height. Might as well put it to good use.”

She could only let out a helpless sigh.
Yes, they had servants. But still… seeing the living room in this state—goodness, what exactly had happened in this house over the last three days?
“Babe…” she murmured softly before sitting down beside him.
—
“Wake up, Apollo!” she called out while cleaning up the overwhelming mess scattered around the room. She had only left her partner alone for three days—she genuinely didn’t understand how things could end up like this.
Everything was a disaster.
