BREAKING: Nearly 10,000 Christians have been slaughtered by Islamists across Africa since the start of 2026 alone. Another 4,000 kidnapped. More than 1,000 churches attacked. Where is the global outrage?

Thank her for defending AIDS victims in the 80s when Reagan and the Catholic Church turned their backs to us. They wanted them dead.

Flesh Impact’ starring Sepideh Moafi alongside Dakota Johnson, Ellen Burstyn, and directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal made me well up as a director just reading the premise. This is Beckett with whipped cream. Brilliant cast and idea. Can not wait. #VeniceFilmFestival #fleshimpact

Yuri Hulchuk, The 23-year-old Ukrainian Marine was captured defending Mariupol on April 12, 2022. In captivity, he was brutally tortured. When he finally returned home in September 2024, Yuri could barely speak. He struggled to eat and appeared unable to recognize his own mother. She had spent more than two years desperately searching for him. His speech gradually returned. He began communicating again and underwent rehabilitation, rebuilding a life that Russian captivity had tried to destroy. Now, Yuri is communicating normally; he stated that he wants to study again and focus on learning foreign languages. Yuri Hulchuk is a reminder that captivity can break a body and scar a mind, but it cannot erase the human will to survive and continue to go forward! You can't defeat these people! 🫡🇺🇦❤️ Absolutely Respect🫡

Anybody interested in the art of acting through song needs to see what Ruthie Henshall and Joy Woods are doing in the 2nd act of @kitkatclubLDN with, respectively, ‘What Would You Do’ and ‘Cabaret’. Both astounding. Five years into its run, this show is in SENSATIONAL shape.

A truly spellbinding supporting cast animate and inhabit the village with extraordinary feeling, with superb turns from a radiant voiced @JfeenaB & @michaelmatus (who I saw play the baker in @strassen’s even more brilliant production of the show at @TheUnionTheatre in 2011).

Strassen’s inspired direction is oil smooth when it needs to be then excitingly textured at times, showcasing this remarkable writer and actress and melding seamlessly with Lucie Pankhurst’s rather fabulous (and tough!) choreography. It’s just a beautiful show' - Alun Hood
