The government of the #AAC would on day one, end thuggery in Lagos. That brings in peace. Stop omo oni ile, construction workers can work in peace. Stops transportation hikes. AFRICAN ACTION CONGRESS (AAC) PRESS STATEMENT 28 October, 2026 AAC WARNS ENABLERS OF INJUSTICE: WEAPONISATION OF CYBERCRIME ACT AGAINST DORIS OGALA IS AN ATTACK ON DEMOCRACY. The African Action Congress (AAC) vehemently condemns the reported court order by Justice A. Aluko of the Federal High Court, Lagos, directing the remand of our Abia State gubernatorial candidate, Doris Ogala, over allegations of cyberbullying one Pastor Chris Okafor. This is a serious attack on our Party, democratic participation, and the fundamental freedoms of Nigerians. We will not accept it in silence! For years, the AAC has demanded the repeal of the repressive Cybercrime Act, which has become a dangerous instrument for influencial individuals and law enforcement authorities to silence dissent, intimidate critics, and criminalise free expression. The circumstances surrounding this case, particularly given Doris Ogala's fierce contest against Governor Alex Otti, raise troubling questions about possible political interference, especially as the rumors in circulation suggest same. While these suspicions require proper investigation, the Nigerian Police must prove that they serve the people, not influential individuals, aggrieved Pastors or undisclosed political interests. We equally demand that Justice Aluko and all judicial officers uphold the highest standards of impartiality and integrity. The judiciary must protect the oppressed, not become an instrument of their persecution. The AAC Party will resist every attempt to weaponise state institutions against our candidates and our movement through all lawful and democratic means. We demand due process, respect for Doris Ogala's fundamental rights, an impartial investigation into any credible allegations of political interference, and the repeal of the repressive Cybercrime Act. Let those plotting to undermine our democratic struggle understand that we will not retreat, we will not surrender, and we will not be silenced! An injury to one is an injury to all! REVOLUTION NOW! Signed: Rex I. Elanu National Publicity Secretary African Action Congress (AAC)

Stop supporting and promoting incompetent fraudsters- the same ones who pushed your nation into multidimensional poverty, stole everything you could have used to prosper, the same establishment politicians who once said telephones were not meant for the poor, the ones who couldn't build hospitals where they and their children could receive treatment, and the ones who ruined your educational institutions. I am talking about Tinubu @officialABAT, Atiku @atiku, Obi @PeterObi, Donald Duke @Donald_Duke, and Kwankwaso @KwankwasoRM, Rotimi Amaechi @ChibuikeAmaechi, Seyi Makinde @seyimakinde, and establishment political leeches. They ruined this country! #SOWORE2027

The African Action Congress takes immense joy and pride in knowing our presidential candidate is superior in terms of consistency, character and competence. He has evidently raised the bar so high on how true and steadfast a 'politician' should be and remain committed to not just acting but living in the interest of the people even when it is most inconveniencing and unpopular to do so
I watched an interview on #PoliticsToday* on @channelstv, anchored by @seunokin, in which the @OfficialAPCNg National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru (@DrSRJ), called me a “skit maker” and “comedian.” I am presenting here a photograph I took with Ajibola in 1998, when I led the Congress of Progressive Youths (COPY), and we were both in the trenches fighting against military dictatorship. What eventually happened to COPY offered an early indication of what Ajibola has become today, but that is a story for another day. His premise is that because Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT was declared "winner" by @inecnigeria in the deeply flawed 2023 presidential election, those of us who contested against him should somehow be ashamed of losing. Ajibola @DrSRJ came to the University of Lagos after he was expelled from the University of Ilorin in 1992 for student activism. I received him alongside Kunle Adegoke, popularly known as “K-Rad,” who is now a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). We provided them with an enabling environment to apply to re-enter the university, gain admission, and study Law at the University of Lagos @UnilagNigeria. Both eventually graduated with flying colours and went on to accomplish great things. The struggle for justice, democracy, freedom and the preservation of human dignity is neither skit-making nor comedy. Ajibola knows this because he was once part of that struggle and benefited from the solidarity of those who refused to surrender to military tyranny. It is unfortunate that he has become so carried away by the fleeting privileges of his current political position that he now ridicules the very struggle that helped shape his own future. But Ajibola should know better. Political appointments are temporary. Tinubu's regime will come and go, just like the military regimes we confronted in our youth. The principles we fought for in 1994 remain as relevant today as they were then. Our commitment to justice has endured for decades and will outlast his present political appointment. The struggle for freedom is not comedy. What is truly comical is watching yesterday's beneficiaries of resistance become today's defenders of the very oppression they once fought against. #RevolutionNow

AFRICAN ACTION CONGRESS (AAC) PRESS STATEMENT 15th October, 2026 AAC DESIGNATES FEDERAL HIGH COURT AND MINISTRY OF JUSTICE AS OFFICIAL CAMPAIGN VENUES IN ABUJA The African Action Congress (AAC) hereby announces a critical adjustment to our presidential campaign activities in response to the persistent judicial harassment and politically motivated distractions targeted at our Presidential Candidate, Omoyele Sowore. Over the past months, our presidential candidate has been compelled to devote a significant portion of his productive campaign time to defending himself against a frivolous and needless lawsuit instituted by the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Tosin Ajayi. This development has unnecessarily diverted valuable time and resources that should have been dedicated to engaging Nigerians across the country on the urgent task of national liberation. In view of this reality, and in keeping with our determination to campaign wherever our candidate is compelled to be, the AAC has resolved that the environs of the Federal High Court, Abuja, and the Federal Ministry of Justice shall serve as some of our official campaign venues throughout the month of October 2026 in the Federal Capital Territory. Our campaign remains committed to taking our message directly to the Nigerian people, and we refuse to allow legal intimidation or politically motivated distractions to derail our democratic engagement with citizens. If our candidate is forced to spend his days in court defending his fundamental rights and freedoms, then the campaign will accompany him there. The struggle for a better Nigeria cannot be suspended by litigation. The AAC hereby calls on all Party faithfuls, supporters of democracy, advocates of justice, and concerned Nigerians to join us at the next court sitting scheduled for: Date: Monday, 19 October 2026 Venue: Federal High Court, Abuja Time: 8.00 am The presence of patriotic Nigerians will send a clear message that democracy cannot be intimidated and that the right of citizens to freely express themselves must be protected at all times. Nigeria belongs to all of us, and together we shall continue to defend democracy and Justice. AAC! TakeItBack! Signed: Rex I. Elanu National Publicity Secretary African Action Congress (AAC)

October>>> the month of revolution. It all started in 1917, led by the Lenin group Bolshevik elites and powered by workers’ unions. Today, October 2026: In France: Students and teachers are protesting for better education. In Chile: Students are protesting education budget cuts. Workers have also recently started their own protests. In India: Opposition parties have joined mass protests against the electoral body and the Prime Minister over the controversial deletion of over 100 million voters. In Nigeria: The main opposition party AAC @aacparty came out in mass in Abuja, led by its presidential candidate @sowore, protesting #TinubuMustGo over Tinubu destructive rulership, concerns about Nigeria’s direction and sovereignty. In the same month, six years ago, Nigerian youths came out in mass to demand #EndSARS. Whenever you see a working system or country, always remember that the citizens if thise countries demanded for it, fought for it. Nigerians can not keep making excuses not to fight for a better country.

AFRICAN ACTION CONGRESS (AAC) PRESS STATEMENT 9th October, 2026 AAC INAUGURATES SOWORE–MAGASHI 2027 PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL, TAKES NATIONAL MOBILISATION TO THE NEXT LEVEL The African Action Congress (AAC) has inaugurated the Sowore–Magashi 2027 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), marking a major step forward in the Party’s preparations to mobilise Nigerians for the 2027 presidential election. The inauguration brings together a structured team of political strategists, organisers, policy advocates, media professionals, digital campaigners, election specialists, legal practitioners, finance personnel and grassroots mobilizers who will coordinate the campaign across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The Campaign Council will be led by Director-General Abdullahi Usman, supported by deputies responsible for Strategy & Political Affairs and Diaspora & Resource Mobilisation, alongside the Campaign Council Secretary, Juwon Sanyaolu. Ten national directorates have also been established to drive the campaign’s core functions, including Strategy and Policy, Grassroots Mobilisation, Labour and Civil Society Engagement, Publicity and Communications, Digital Media, Data and Technology, Election Operations, Finance, Legal and Compliance, and Administration and Field Operations. At the grassroots, the campaign structure will connect state, LGA, ward and polling-unit coordinators, building a nationwide network of volunteers, canvassers, polling agents and supporters. The AAC acknowledges that the coordination and mobilisation of the Sowore 2027 campaign has, to date, been significantly powered by the innovative SOWORENOW app, which has provided an important digital platform for organising supporters and coordinating campaign activities. The Presidential Campaign Council is not a replacement for this digital mobilisation infrastructure; rather, it is designed to upscale, deepen and expand it. The Council will combine the power of technology with physical grassroots organisation, political coordination and community-level mobilisation to ensure that the Sowore–Magashi campaign reaches Nigerians in every part of the country. This AAC is clear about the historic task before us. The 2027 election is not merely about changing the occupant of Aso Rock; it is about changing the political direction of Nigeria. As the old political order continues to fail Nigerians, the AAC is taking its message directly to the people, from the cities to the rural communities, from state capitals to the polling units. The inauguration of the Campaign Council therefore signals the beginning of an intensified nationwide mobilisation. We call on Nigerians who believe that Nigeria can and must be different to join us. The task of taking back our country cannot be left to politicians alone; it requires the active participation of the People. AAC! TAKE IT BACK! Signed: Samuel Ajeigbe Ag. National Chairman Oshiokhue Phillip National Secretary
