About an hour before the echidna adventure I found this amazing crushed velvet jacket at an opshop. It's about as old as I am and from a brand I currently wear and love. It's like the universe was pre-empting my good karma!

Today's adventure involved bodily stopping traffic while our new friend Barnaby the Echidna crossed a busy round about. We stayed with him until he reached the near by native bushland reserve, which of course meant crossing back over the road 🤦‍♀️

While I was standing in front of cars Tom was on the phone to wildlife rescue. Echidnas are known wanderers, so there wasn't much more we could do but make sure he made it somewhere safe

I forget how much I've had to change my daily life to deal with the ridiculousness of my health until I actually do something fun🙄 A day spent running around the city followed by a concert absolutely ruined me! I'm only now starting to feel back to normal almost three days later

Told myself I wasn't going to buy anything at spotlight because it's Sunday and the line is Hella Long. I am unfortunately incapable of not digging through the mill ends 🤦‍♀️ I even had to get Long Arms McGee (Tom 🤣) to reach down the the bottom of the box for the second bag

Had to create a little weed killer exclusion zone/snail sanctuary while doing some garden work today. According to Tom, delicately moving every snail I find to safety is "the most you thing ever" 🤣🐌
