Tonight, the American people sent a clear message — they want a politics that brings people together rather than divides them, and leaders who offer concrete solutions to the challenges they face. These results were only possible because outstanding candidates stepped forward in every region of the country — including in areas once considered long shots. They came from different backgrounds and represented a range of political perspectives, but were united by shared values, a belief in public service, and a commitment to putting the people of their districts and states first. We also owe a debt of gratitude to the thousands of election officials and volunteers from both parties who helped ensure a smooth election and carried out one of the most essential functions of our democracy. While this administration has another two years in office, our job now is to roll up our sleeves, make changes wherever we have the power to do so, prevent further damage, and lay the groundwork for the future.

@ODEONCinemas I have been a Limitless member since 2009. For the first time, I made a complaint. This was on 20th October and I have yet to receive a proper reply (I have had an acknowledgement). I'm wondering if this tweet might help jog your memory....

West End theatres will dim their lights for two minutes at 7pm on Tuesday 3 November in remembrance of Sir Patrick Stewart, who has died at age 86. Stewart made his professional stage debut in 1959 at the Theatre Royal in Bristol. He joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1966, appearing in up to 60 productions, and later came to international fame through Star Trek: The Next Generation and many other screen roles. Knighted in 2010 for services to drama, Stewart received many awards for his work. He won Olivier Awards for Antony and Cleopatra (1979) and Hamlet (2009), while his one-man production of A Christmas Carol won Best Entertainment in 1994. 📸: Alastair Muir

Just want to tell you about an amazing colleague I met last week. Victoria joined us 3 years ago when she was still in prison, via our Max Spielmann training academy inside HMP Downview. She started to go out on day release, and has now worked her way up to shop manager, and now has become a member of the area team!

Well done to Edward. Twice-a-week he goes out with a team from his supported living accommodation and cleans up the area nearby - which is close to one of the city's busiest retail parks. 👏♻️ blogpreston.co.uk/2026/10/ma…

Sometimes this stuff is literally about lives & deaths✔️ It is also sometimes about the lack of the required knowledge & experience & legal literacy & willingness & wilful ignorance✔️

In this raw and personal account, Graham Sims writes for us about being diagnosed with terminal cancer and his treatment since. He very bravely wanted to tell his story, and our hope is this helps anyone else going through this situation blogpreston.co.uk/2026/10/my…
